  • Patent number: 11949637
Abstract: A server of an on-premises data center used for a software platform identifies a condition impacting real-time communication services at a premises housing devices accessing the software platform. The server transmits, to a device of an administrator associated with the premises via a messaging application for real-time communication between two or more human-operated devices, a message indicating the condition and including one or more selectable elements each associated with a different action for addressing the condition. The server receives an indication of a selectable element selected from amongst the one or more selectable elements at the device of the administrator. The server causes performance of the action associated with the selected selectable element.

  • Patent number: 11947876
Abstract: A method of modifying a CAD system model performed on a data processing system includes receiving a dataset of co-ordinates representing an article in 2d, or in 3d and receiving 2d or 3d constraints respectively, to be applied to any changes to the dataset of co-ordinates for the article. A modification to be applied to the dataset is received and combined with the relevant 2d and 3d constraints to produce a constrained modification for each of the article and associated article. The constrained modification is solved in 2d and in 3d to determine whether a solution exists in which all constraints are met. If the solve is successful, the constrained modification is applied to each dataset simultaneously and, updated datasets are stored. If the solve fails, the constraints may be reduced and the solve step repeated, or the process is terminated.

  • Patent number: 11949080
Abstract: Described herein are battery packs and electric vehicles using these packs. In some examples, a battery pack comprises two portions/covers and a set of battery modules positioned within the enclosed cavity formed by these portions. A battery pack may comprise a set of pressure-relief valves positioned in and protruding through a wall of at least one portion. Each valve can be coaxial with a corresponding gap provided between two adjacent modules. The valve is configured to provide a fluid path (to the exterior of the battery pack) when the pressure inside the pack exceeds a set threshold. In some examples, the battery pack comprises an inlet tube fluidically coupled to the inlet port of each module and an outlet tube fluidically coupled to the outlet port of each module. A set of specially configured orifices or controllable valves is positioned on the fluid path through each module.

  • Patent number: 11945112
Abstract: Simulated motion of the papillary muscles in a heart simulator is provided that simulates natural motion of the papillary muscles. This improves heart valve simulation. This can be done with a six degree of freedom robotic actuator (e.g., a Stewart platform or the like) appropriately driven by a controller. This can also be done with a robotic actuator that provides constrained motion of its effector by including a mechanical linkage, as long as the resulting simulated papillary muscle motion includes time-varying position and orientation of the papillary muscle.

  • Patent number: 11944613
Abstract: The present invention pertains to novel treatments of neuropathic pain; in particular chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathic pain (CIPNP). The invention provides antagonists cytochrome P450 epoxygenases (CYP), and more specifically antagonists of CYP2J2, as therapeutics for use in the treatment of neuropathic pain such as CIPNP. CYP2J2 antagonists were identified to alleviate CIPNP in-vivo, and therefore are provided additionally in combination with chemotherapeutics for the treatment of diseases such as cancer or other proliferative disorders. The CYP2J2 antagonists reduce chemotherapeutic induced pain and therefore allow for a higher dosing of the chemotherapeutic during cancer treatment. In addition the invention relates to the use of CYP2J2 agonists, or metabolites of CYP2J2, for sensitizing TRPV1.

  • Publication number: 20240103879
Abstract: Block data load with transpose techniques are described. In one example, an input is received, at a control unit, specifying an instruction to load a block of data to at least one memory module using a transpose operation. Responsive to the receiving the input by the control unit, the block of data is caused to be loaded to the at least one memory module by transposing the block of data to form a transposed block of data and storing the transposed block of data in the at least one memory.

  • Publication number: 20240106687
Abstract: A device includes an amplifying device that when in operation transmits a data signal and a reference signal to a decision feedback equalizer (DFE) circuit. The amplifying device includes a variable gain amplifier (VGA) that when in operation generates the reference signal as having a predetermined gain relative to a received input signal and a continuous-time linear equalizer (CTLE) that operate to mitigate inter-symbol interference (IR) on the data signal from a data stream comprising the data signal. The device further includes correction circuitry coupled to the amplifying device, wherein the correction circuitry when in operation mitigates variation in the predetermined gain of the VGA or variation in an output common-mode voltage of the VGA.

  • Publication number: 20240107125
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for identifying a plurality of past videos posted via a first group of channels, determining, for each channel of a second group, an average number of access requests that a future video to be posted via a respective channel is predicted to receive within a first time interval after posting, determining, for each channel of the second group, a plurality of adjusted average numbers of access requests that the future video to be posted via the respective channel of the second group is predicted to receive within the first time interval, wherein each of the plurality of adjusted average numbers of access requests is determined using an adjustment factor reflecting a number of access requests received by a past video posted via a respective channel of the first group, and determining whether the second group of channels satisfies a predetermined access criterion.

  • Publication number: 20240106812
Abstract: The techniques herein are directed generally to a “zero-knowledge” data management network. Users are able to share verifiable proof of data and/or identity information, and businesses are able to request, consume, and act on the data—all without a data storage server or those businesses ever seeing or having access to the raw sensitive information (where server-stored data is viewable only by the intended recipients, which may even be selected after storage). In one embodiment, source data is encrypted with a source encryption key (e.g., source public key), with a rekeying key being an encrypting combination of a source decryption key (e.g., source private key) and a recipient's public key. Without being able to decrypt the data, the storage server can use the rekeying key to re-encrypt the source data with the recipient's public key, to then be decrypted only by the corresponding recipient using its private key, accordingly.
