  • Publication number: 20230139380
Abstract: A document management system can include an artificial intelligence-based document manager that can perform one or more predictive operations based on characteristics of a user, a document, a user account, or historical document activity. For instance, the document management system can apply a machine-learning model to determine how long an expiring agreement document is likely to take to renegotiate and can prompt a user to begin the renegotiation process in advance. The document management system can detect a change to language in a particular clause type and can prompt a user to update other documents that include the clause type to include the change. The document management system can determine a type of a document being worked on and can identify one or more actions that a corresponding user may want to take using a machine-learning model trained on similar documents and similar users.

  • Publication number: 20230068755
Abstract: Ocean-based gear equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) shares position to either single or multiple users. Position data from an ocean-based device are sent either to a cloud-hosted database or vessel transceiver, then displayed on either a mobile app via multiple login accounts, a vessel-mounted GPS plotter that is capable of sharing data over the internet, or a satellite-connected mobile device capable of receiving and displaying Short Message Service (SMS) messages or emails. The Vessel Transceiver device is designed to share data from gear to vessel via radio frequency, as well as vessel to vessel via satellite network, without internet connectivity. Position data are provided to either one user or multiple users on the ocean or on land via various communication arrangements.

  • Patent number: 11575535
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing contextual interaction with connected devices are described. A mobile device having a display that presents a user interface enabling access to functionalities provided by connected devices. The user interface may be updated as various contextually-related data is received. For example, data representing a current position of the mobile device, such as Bluetooth low energy beacon signals, WiFi signals, and the like, may be monitored. In response to determining that the current position is within a threshold proximity of a first location, the user interface may be updated to emphasize a first location interface corresponding to the first location over interfaces corresponding to other locations.
