  • Publication number: 20240215028
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a secure edge device for contactless resource distribution and resource crediting from an automobile. In this way, the edge device may be affixed to or embedded within the side or the mirror of an automobile and be able to communicate with a third party device using near field communication. Upon authentication of a user, the edge device may communicate with the third party to transmit and present data about the resource distribution to the automobile display. The system allows for the user to select the resource distribution via the automobile display and provide a completion of resource distributions.

  • Patent number: 12018154
Abstract: This invention is based upon the discovery that benzoxazine resins can be incorporated into certain rubber compositions to increase the stiffness thereof without increasing hysteresis or reducing tear strength. Such benzoxazine resin reinforced rubber formulations can accordingly be used beneficially in components of rubber products where high stiffness is desirable. Since these benzoxazine resin reinforced rubbers do not increase levels of hysteresis, they can be used in tires components, such as apexes, chaffers, and high stiffness tread blocks without compromising fuel efficiency. This invention more specifically reveals a radial tire having an apex, a chaffer, or a hard tread block segment which is comprised of a rubbery polymer and a benzoxazine resin.

  • Publication number: 20240205203
Abstract: The techniques herein are directed generally to a “zero-knowledge” data management network. Users are able to share verifiable proof of data and/or identity information, and businesses are able to request, consume, and act on the data—all without a data storage server or those businesses ever seeing or having access to the raw sensitive information (where server-stored data is viewable only by the intended recipients, which may even be selected after storage). In one embodiment, source data is encrypted with a source encryption key (e.g., source public key), with a rekeying key being an encrypting combination of a source decryption key (e.g., source private key) and a recipient's public key. Without being able to decrypt the data, the storage server can use the rekeying key to re-encrypt the source data with the recipient's public key, to then be decrypted only by the corresponding recipient using its private key, accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20240203533
Abstract: A user may select one or more potential common ancestors with a DNA match to view the target individual's relationship with them. The process may include identifying, from a first genealogical profile of the target individual. A first individual has a first linkage that connects the target individual towards the selected potential common ancestor. The process may also include identifying, from a second genealogical profile of the DNA match, a second individual who has a second linkage that connects the DNA match towards the selected potential common ancestor. The process may further include connecting the first linkage and the second linkage with the selected potential common ancestor by adding one or more individuals whose profiles are retrieved from other searchable genealogical profiles stored in the online system. With the nodes and connections available, the process may generate a map of visual connections between the target individual and the DNA match.

  • Publication number: 20240193255
Abstract: Data encryption keys (and other sensitive data) can be secured during use by a key protection service that performs cryptographic operations on behalf of a client application. The key protection service can be implemented as a lightweight virtual machine that appears externally as a container and that can be executed in a secured environment. The lightweight virtual machine can include containerized processes to support an application program interface to interact with the client application and an attestation client to interact with a secured key storage system external to the secured environment.

  • Publication number: 20240187396
Abstract: The invention is that of a system and method of generating an individual compliance score based on one or more background checks that is useful in determining the compliance levels of service providers based on selected criteria. The individual compliance scores are the result of a matrix comparison of a background check score against industry standards to provide greater weight to areas of specific interest depending on the industry. An application program interface may be installed on a user system to allow individual compliance scores and corresponding unique identifiers to be visible to users of the system. Access and security controls are provided, with users being in network communication with the system. The methods enabled by the system allow for rapid real-time service provider qualification without the need for time consuming background audits. A system of the present invention may be presented as a feature of an existing mobile application.
