  • Patent number: 9508178
Abstract: A method of generating an animation rig for a 3-D computing environment may include accessing a plurality of blocks, each representing a particular rig element, and including interfaces that govern interactions with other rig elements and information for generating a portion of the animation rig corresponding to the particular rig element represented by the block. The method may also include receiving a selection of a first block that includes a first interface and first information and represents a first rig element, and receiving a selection of a second block that includes a second interface and second information and represents a second rig element. The method may additionally include receiving an instruction to connect the first interface to the second interface, generating the animation rig using the first information and the second information, and providing the animation rig to the 3-D computing environment.

  • Patent number: 9508179
Abstract: A method of generating an animation rig for a three-dimensional (3-D) computing environment may include providing a rig generation environment that includes a library storing a plurality of blocks. Each of the plurality of blocks may represent particular rig elements and include information for generating the rig elements in the 3-D computing environment along with a first icon that is visually representative of the particular rig elements. The method may also include receiving and displaying two or more blocks in the rig generation environment, and receiving one or more graphical connections between the blocks. The method may additionally include generating the animation rig using the information of each of the two or more blocks and sending the animation rig from the rig generation environment to the 3-D computing environment.

  • Publication number: 20160170496
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to annotating data based on gestures. Gestures include user interaction with a client device or client software. Gestures are tracked and associated with data. In an aspect, client context associated with a gesture is also tracked. The gestures are then employed to determine a global term to associate with the data. In an aspect, a look-up table comprising a pre-defined relationship between gestures and a global term can be employed. In another aspect, an inference component employ context information in conjunction with the tracked gestures to determine a global term to assign to data. After a global term is determined for data based on a gesture, an annotation file for the data can be created associating the data with the global term.

  • Publication number: 20160171054
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to one or more computer-implemented processes for collecting, analyzing, and employing annotations of data sources. In particular, an annotation component is configured to receive annotations of data for a data source, wherein the respective annotations comprise different associations of a global terms with the data of the data source, a data store configured to store the annotations, and an interface component configured to render the data based on the annotations in response to a request for the data. In an aspect, storing information, the data also stores descriptions of the data sources and definitions of the global terms, and the interface component determines a subset of the information in the data store based on the annotations. A method is further provided comprising receiving a global term and determining data sources that have the global term associated with the data thereof based on the information in the data store.

  • Publication number: 20160157975
Abstract: Provided is a unit dose dental implant system for oral surgery that includes 1) an implant component, or simply “implant”; 2) an prosthetic abutment component, or simply “abutment”; 3) a healing abutment cap; 4) a locking screw; and 5) a plurality of tools. The implant and abutment are typically deployed in two stages. A first stage involves the surgical placement of the implant into the jaw of a patient. A second stage is a restorative procedure utilizing the abutment. Staging is used to allow patient healing and to allow boney growth to develop on the implant prior to the restorative procedure. The implant, abutment and the tools necessary for the procedures are provide in a sterile condition in a multi-stage container. The implant and the corresponding tools are provided in a first container and the abutment and corresponding tools are provided in a second container.

  • Publication number: 20150118688
Abstract: Provided herein are methods, systems, and devices for detecting and/or identifying one or more specific microorganisms in a culture sample. Indicator particles, such as surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS)-active nanoparticles, each having associated therewith one or more specific binding members having an affinity for the one or more microorganisms of interest, can form a complex with specific microorganisms in the culture sample. Further, agitating magnetic capture particles also having associated therewith one or more specific binding members having an affinity for the one or more microorganisms of interest can be used to capture the microorganism-indicator particle complex and concentrate the complex in a localized area of an assay vessel for subsequent detection and identification. The complex can be dispersed, pelleted, and redispersed so that the culture sample can be retested a number of times during incubation so as to allow for real-time monitoring of the culture sample.

  • Patent number: 9009004
Abstract: A technique for generating interconnect fabric requirements. The technique programmatically generates an interconnect design problem based on criteria specified by a user. In one aspect, a computer implemented method is provided for generating an interconnect fabric design problem. The problem includes requirements for a plurality of flows among a set of network nodes. A source node and a terminal node are selected, from among the set of network nodes, for a flow to be added to the requirements. A maximum capacity available at the selected source node and the selected terminal node is determined. The flow is generated having a capacity less than or equal to the lower of the maximum capacity of the source node and the terminal node. Depending upon the input criteria, the invention may generate problems with greater flexibility than prior techniques.

  • Publication number: 20150065988
Abstract: A pumping apparatus for use with a pump set to deliver fluid through the pump set to a subject includes a pumping device capable of acting on the pump set to produce a fluid flow within the pump set. A controller is in communication with the pumping device for controlling operation of the pumping device in a feeding configuration and in a flushing configuration. The controller is adapted to store a selected flow rate and a desired fluid volume of a first fluid in the memory and at least one of a flush rate and flush volume of a second fluid. A flush time compensator is capable of being run for determining a compensated feeding configuration of the first fluid based on an amount of time the controller will operate the pump device in the flushing configuration and the desired fluid volume of the first fluid.
