  • Patent number: 11938344
Abstract: Provided is a method of positioning a patient for radiation treatment and/or of monitoring a position of the patient during radiation treatment. The method includes providing surface data from a 3D surface scanner indicative of a surface of a body part of the patient to be irradiated in the radiation treatment. Surface data are calibrated with respect to a relative position of the 3D surface scanner and an isocenter position of a radiation treatment apparatus. A beam path of a radiation beam is determined based on planning data for the radiation treatment and intersected with a part of the surface of the patient represented by the surface data. Further, at least a first portion of the patient's surface located inside the beam path and/or at least a second portion of the patient's surface located outside the beam path is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20240092633
Abstract: An MEMS has a substrate and a cavity arranged in the substrate. A movable element is arranged in the cavity, configured to interact with a fluid arranged in the cavity, wherein a movement of the fluid and a movement of the movable element are causally related. A first opening which connects the cavity to an environment of the substrate causes a first phase offset of a first periodic oscillation which is causally related to the movement of the movable element when passing through the first opening. A second opening which connects the cavity to the environment of the substrate causes a second phase offset, different from the first phase offset, of a second periodic oscillation which is causally related to the movement of the movable element when passing through the second opening.

  • Patent number: 11889972
Abstract: A method is provided for operating a suction device that includes a suction unit and a removable filtering device. The suction unit generates a suction flow that flows through the filtering device when arranged on the suction device, in which, after the suction unit is started up, a check is performed of whether the filtering device is present, and if detected as not present, the suction unit is switched off. An evaluation unit uses check data to determine whether a switch-off signal is to be generated for the suction unit. The evaluation unit uses an algorithm or a table to arrive at a decision on switching off the suction unit based on the check data. The table contains at least one threshold value or the algorithm defines at least one threshold value, wherein the at least one threshold value is a threshold value for switching off the suction unit.

  • Patent number: 10703057
Abstract: A device for producing textile planar structures formed of a plurality of portions deposited beside one another of fiber rovings. A supply device provides a fiber rovings at a transfer installation. A plurality of path guiding rails are disposed beside one another and above the depositing face. A gripper unit and a cutting unit are disposed on each path guiding rail. Each gripper unit and each cutting unit is movable and positionable along the path guiding rail independently of the gripper units and cutting units of the other path guiding rails. The gripper units grab the fiber roving from the transfer installation and move their free end to a desired terminal position. The cutting units severs the rovings at a cutting position. The gripper units and the cutting units have a downholder for pressing the fiber roving against the depositing face.
