Publication number: 20250099192Abstract: The sterile interface module includes a body member for coupling a surgical instrument to a robotic surgical assembly, a decoupling collar supported on the body member and movable relative to the body member from a first position to a second position, and a drive transfer assembly supported by the body member. The drive transfer assembly includes a drive coupler and a transfer shaft extending from the drive coupler. The drive coupler engages the robotic surgical assembly and the transfer shaft engages the surgical instrument. The drive coupler engages the robotic surgical assembly while the decoupling collar is in the first position to enable the robotic surgical assembly to robotically control the surgical instrument. The drive coupler is retracted within the body member while the decoupling collar is in the second position to prevent the drive coupler from engaging the robotic surgical assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Jaimeen Kapadia, Brock Kopp, Mark H. Publication number: 20250103644Abstract: Media unit retrieval methods, systems and computer program products are provided that allow a user to search for an item by iteratively presenting media units such as images representing items to the user and receiving user input consisting of selections of the presented media units (including possibly the empty selection). Features, or attributes, a user is interested in, for example semantic features, are inferred from the interaction and media units are retrieved for presentation based on similarity with user-selected media units, through sampling of a probability distribution describing the intent or interests, or combinations of approaches. Accordingly, the user-experience is akin to a conversation about what the user is looking for. Retrieval may be based on both selected and unselected media units and the selection may comprise making a selection with a single action. Further, a database of media units can capture similarity relationships for efficient media unit retrieval.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Michael ELKAIM, Michael KOPP, Kristjan KORJUS

Publication number: 20250073004Abstract: A method includes obtaining first data of a dental arch having one or more first properties. The method further includes processing the first data using one or more trained machine learning models. The one or more trained machine learning models generate a dimensionally reduced representation of the dental arch based on the first data. The one or more trained machine learning models generate second data of the dental arch that has one or more second properties. The method further includes obtaining, from the one or more trained machine learning models, the second data of the dental arch that has the one or more second properties. The second data is based on the dimensionally reduced representation. The one or more second properties are different from the one or more first properties. The method further includes causing a representation of the dental arch to be displayed based on the second data.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Nicolas Wicki, Janik Lobsiger, Philipp Kopp, Sinan Ibrahim Bayraktar, Michael Chang, Niko Benjamin Huber

Publication number: 20230243958Abstract: A method for allocating dynamic objects to traffic lanes of a road. Objects are detected in a radar measurement and are subdivided into dynamic objects and static objects. A roadway edge is determined from the static objects. Here, the lane allocation of the dynamic object is made from the distance of a dynamic object to at least one static object marking the roadway edge.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2023Publication date: August 3, 2023Inventor: Michael Kopp

Publication number: 20230067464Abstract: An approach is provided for end-to-end traffic estimation. The approach involves, for instance, retrieving probe data or other sensor data collected from sensors of devices traveling in a geographic area. The approach also involves optionally aggregating the probe or sensor data into a sequence of frames. Each frame comprises a plurality of spatial cells representing the geographic area at a respective time interval. The probe or sensor data is spatially and temporally binned into the spatial cells. The approach further involves initiating an offline pre-processing pipeline to associate the probe or sensor data with road segments of a geographic database and/or otherwise determining a ground-truth traffic state for each frame or sensor data. The approach further involves training a machine learning model using the ground-truth traffic state to determine a predicted traffic state directly from input frames or sensor data.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 24, 2021Publication date: March 2, 2023Inventors: David JONIETZ, Michael KOPP, Moritz NEUN, Bo XU, Ali SOLEYMANI

Publication number: 20230008791Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for the combined analysis of transaction execution monitoring data and a topology model created from infrastructure monitoring data of computing systems involved in the execution of the monitored transactions. Monitored communication activities of transactions are analyzed to identify intermediate processing nodes between sender and receiver side and to enrich transaction monitoring data with data describing those intermediate processing nodes. The topology model may also be improved by the combined analysis, as functionality and services provided by elements of the topology model may be derived by the involvement of those elements in the execution of monitored transactions. The result of the combined analysis is used by an automated anomaly detection and causality estimation system. The combined analysis may also reveal entities of a monitored environment that are used by transaction executions but which are not monitored.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2022Publication date: January 12, 2023Applicant: Dynatrace LLCInventors: Herwig MOSER, Michael KOPP, Ernst AMBICHL

Patent number: 11373115Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for training a machine learned model on a large number of devices, each device acquiring a local set of training data without sharing data sets across devices. The devices train the model on the respective device's set of training data. The devices communicate a parameter vector from the trained model asynchronously with a parameter server. The parameter server updates a master parameter vector and transmits the master parameter vector to the respective device.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2018Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: HERE Global B.V.Inventors: Michael Kopp, Moritz Neun, Michael Sprague, Amir Jalalirad, Marco Scavuzzo, Catalin Capota
