Patent number: 11853653Abstract: This document describes a generative design platform that uses style to generate product designs. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a client computing device of a user, data identifying a set of design parameters including a product template for a product and one or more style grammars for the product. Each style grammar includes a set of stylistic parameters that define aesthetic characteristics of a group of related products. One or more physical constraints on a design of the product are obtained. A set of candidate product designs for the product are generated based on the product template, each style grammar, and the one or more physical constraints. A set of scores are generated for each candidate product design based on an evaluation of the candidate product designs. A subset of the candidate product designs are selected based on the scores.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2021Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: Michael Kuniavsky, Nicholas Akiona, Michael Nai-An Chen

Publication number: 20220207395Abstract: This document describes a platform that processes multi-modal inputs received from multiple sensors and initiates actions that cause the user to transition to a target state. In one aspect, a method includes detecting, based on data received from sensors, a current state of a user. A set of candidate states to which the user can transition from the current state is identified based on the current state. A target state for the user is selected based on the data received from the sensors and/or the current state of the user. For each of multiple candidate states, a probability at which the user will transition from the current state to the target state through the candidate state is determined. A next state for the user is selected based on the probabilities. One or more actions are determined and initiated to transition the user from the current state to the next state.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2021Publication date: June 30, 2022Inventors: David William Vinson, Matthew Thomas Short, Sunil Shettigar, Kahlil Gibran Fitzgerald, Michael Kuniavsky

Publication number: 20210286921Abstract: This document describes a generative design platform that generates and uses style grammars to generate product designs. In one aspect, a method includes, for each of multiple products, obtaining one or more visual representations of the product and extracting, from the one or more visual representations of the product, feature values for visual features of the product. For each visual feature of a set of visual features, one or more clusters are generated. Each cluster includes a set of feature values for one or more of the products classified as being similar feature values. For a group of related products, a style grammar is generated based on the set of feature values assigned to each cluster. The style grammar for the group of related products includes a set of stylistic parameters that specify respective ranges of feature values for visual features that represent aesthetic characteristics of the group of products.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2021Publication date: September 16, 2021Inventors: Michael Kuniavsky, Nicholas Akiona, Michael Nai-An Chen
