  • Publication number: 20180224065
Abstract: A pressure vessel for containing a pressurized fluid is disclosed. An outer shell may define a cavity where the fluid is stored. An inner matrix substantially fills the cavity and undertakes a majority of the forces exerted by the stored fluid. The inner matrix is a series of interconnected nodes with a series of voids located therebetween. The voids contact one another so that fluid may flow therebetween, thus filling the cavity. The interconnected nodes are filleted at the points of contact to reduce stress concentrations. An inlet/outlet device may selectively permit the introduction and removal of the fluid from the cavity.

  • Patent number: 9988069
Abstract: A steering column module includes a tubular jacket rotatably supporting a steering shaft, a switch module having a carrier including contact pressure surfaces, and a device for fastening the switch module to the tubular jacket. The device includes a clamp assembly between the tubular jacket and the switch module for exerting a clamping force on the tubular jacket. The clamp includes two half clamps each having two outwardly bent end flanges. The end flanges are axially movably accommodated in the carrier such that when the switch module is axially moved onto the tubular jacket the end flanges come into contact with axial end stops of the tubular jacket and the contact pressure surfaces of the carrier. The contact pressure surfaces exert forces on the end flanges as the switch module is axially moved onto the tubular jacket thus fastening the switch module to the tubular jacket with a clamping action.

  • Patent number: 9957657
Abstract: An appliance lock includes a housing and a lid movable between an open and closed positions. First and second sliders supported for movement by the housing. A striker is attachable to the other of the appliance body and lid. The striker is connectable with the housing upon movement of the lid to the closed position. The striker has a first portion for engaging and moving the first slider from a first position to a second position upon lid movement to the closed position. The striker has a second portion for engaging and moving the second slider from a first position to a second position upon lid movement to the closed position. The first and second sliders being in the second positions enables activation of the appliance. Structure minimizes the ability to move the first and second sliders to the second position by substantially anything but the striker.
