  • Publication number: 20150146881
Abstract: An audio output device that operates on a network to connect with a first source device. The connection to the first source device can be made using a first wireless port, so that the first source device streams a first audio content to the first wireless port of the audio output device. When connected to the first source device, the audio output device generates an advertisement for the network, which communicates that the audio output device is available to receive a connection to another source device. In this way, the audio output device generates a new wireless port to connect to a second source device when the connection with the first source device is active.

  • Patent number: 8967319
Abstract: A horizontal muffler for an agricultural vehicle is provided. One agricultural vehicle includes an exhaust system having a muffler configured to direct exhaust out of an engine and to reduce a noise of the exhaust. The agricultural vehicle also includes a steering wheel configured to control steering of the agricultural vehicle. The muffler is disposed forward of the steering wheel relative to a direction of travel of the agricultural vehicle. Moreover, the muffler extends in a substantially horizontal direction such that a flow of the exhaust through the muffler is substantially parallel to a ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20140202142
Abstract: A diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank for an off-road vehicle including a first conduit channel molded into an exterior surface of the DEF tank, at a first depth, in which the first conduit channel is configured to guide a first conduit along the exterior surface of the DEF tank. The DEF tank further including a second conduit channel molded into the exterior surface of the DEF tank at a second depth, different than the first depth, in which the second conduit channel is configured to guide a second conduit, and the first depth and the second depth are selected to create a vertical gap between the first conduit and the second conduit at an intersection of the conduits.

  • Publication number: 20140151916
Abstract: Processes for making press-in-place (PIP) gaskets. Representative components with gasket cavities (grooves) are prepared and the cavities are filled with a curable molding material. Once the molded gaskets are hardened, they are removed from the cavities. The molded sample gaskets are then measured, preferably by a laser scanner, and drawings are prepared based on the measurement data. Appropriate tooling is then created and the gaskets are produced.

  • Publication number: 20120323230
Abstract: A laser tissue fusion device is optimized for particular surgical applications to join tissue layers. The device has two opposed arms that engage and disengage to clamp and release layers of tissue therebetween. The distal end of the first arm is disposed opposite the distal end of the second arm. A laser energy source generates therapeutic laser energy is either integrated within the device is a separate unit. An energy pathway transmits the laser energy to the distal end of the first arm to deliver the laser energy to tissue layers clamped between the distal ends of the arms. An actuator decreases the separation distance between the distal ends of the arms to clamp the tissue layers. A switch activates the laser energy source upon engagement. The laser energy source delivers a burst of energy at a predetermined wavelength for a predetermined period of time sufficient to spot-weld the tissue.

  • Patent number: 8230810
Abstract: A litter box device for use by pets. The device includes at least two litter boxes arranged as stacked drawers held in a housing. The upper drawer is accessible to a pet through an entry to the housing. The bottom of each drawer has a screen and a slidably removable drawer bottom. Removal of the slidably removable drawer bottom allows the contents of the drawer to pass into the underlying drawer. After pets excrete waste into the litter in the top box, the loose litter is separated from the waste clumps by sliding the removable drawer bottom from the top drawer, allowing loose litter granules to flow down through a screened opening into the underlying drawer. The top drawer will retain the waste clumps on its screen within the upper drawer, the screen positioned proximate to the slidably removable drawer bottom. The waste clumps may then be removed from the drawer and screen. The lower drawer containing the filtered litter can be guided up into the top position.

Abstract: An endorsement system is provided for enabling a user to manage endorsements and promotions. In an embodiment, the user may be able to embed a logo of a company within the user's profile picture within a social network. Such user, displaying the logo of a company may thus act as an endorser of the company, and in exchange the company may offer the user certain incentives for such endorsement. The endorsement may be viewed by the user's friends of connections within a social network. In one embodiment, the endorsement system includes an administration system, the administration system including one or more modules to permit a user to create a profile, manage the user's profile, and manage endorsements.
