  • Publication number: 20080304269
Abstract: A lighting fixture comprises a mounting assembly and two rails. At least one of the rails is slidable relative to the mounting assembly. The rails are each extruded, and have profiles which are substantially similar to each other. Each rail has a male component which fits within a female component of the other. Also, a fixture comprising a mounting assembly comprising an opening through which a light engine housing can be inserted, and (1) a spring clip and/or (2) a clip engagement structure. Also, a fixture comprising a mounting assembly, a first set of rails, and a supplemental rail. The supplemental rail is slidable relative to the light emitting element mounting assembly. Also, a fixture comprising a mounting assembly, a set of rails, and an engagement element having a first portion being in contact with a first rail and a second portion in contact with the second rail.

  • Publication number: 20080190740
Abstract: A conveyor idler support frame (10) for rotatably mounting a conveyor idler (12, 14, 16, 20, 22) is provided. The frame is displaceable between an operation position and an idler removal position. In the operation position, the frame places a mounted idler in operational engagement with a conveyor belt (18). In the idler removal position, the frame brings the mounted idler out of engagement with the conveyor belt to allow the idler to be removed from the frame.

  • Patent number: 7296908
Abstract: Housings for emergency unit luminaires with a front portion that includes a printed circuit board and other operational components and a back portion that includes electrical contacts configured to connect to a source of external power. When the front and back portions are engaged, contact pads projecting from the printed circuit board are guided into engagement with the electrical contacts of the back portion for connection to the external power source. The front portion is disengaged from the back portion, and thus disconnected from power, when needed, for example, for maintenance of the unit.

  • Publication number: 20070211454
Abstract: Devices and methods for externally accessing and adjusting a lighting fixture optic and adjusting a lighting fixture enclosure on its base. Embodiments provide a lighting fixture enclosure with an opening at the top that both receives a removable screw for securing the top and, when the screw is removed, allows insertion of a tool to rotate a reflector and thereby adjust the rotational direction of the light. Such a reflector may be movably coupled to an inside surface of the fixture top while being secured to a bracket. A tool inserted through the opening at the top of the fixture may engage an aperture in the bracket such that as the tool is rotated, the bracket and secured reflector also rotate.

  • Patent number: 7220014
Abstract: An emergency lighting device adapted to be quickly and easily mounted and installed. In one embodiment, a mounting member of the device is first mounted to a desired structure and connected to an external power supply. Once mounted and completed, and emergency lighting assembly is secured to the mounting member. In certain embodiments, securing the emergency lighting assembly to the mounting member connects the device to the external power supply and energizes the device.

  • Publication number: 20070050166
Abstract: Method and system to configure a common set of electronic components using software in order to simulate different electronic, mechanical and/or electro-mechanical instruments or instrument functions. For each instrument function or traditional mode of operation to be simulated, software models are created which when directed to the electronic components, cause the electronic components to respond to input in the same manner that the actual, traditional physical instrument would respond to satisfy the same test requirement input. The software models are preferably stored in a model repository which is searchable to enable a user to select the instrument function or traditional mode of operation to be simulated with the corresponding model being provided to the electronic components. Once the model, i.e., a function for each synthetic element, is downloaded and the electronic components configured according to the model functions, testing of the assemblies or other UUTs can begin.

  • Patent number: 7182487
Abstract: Housings for emergency unit luminaires may be configured to receive both fixed and movable optical assemblies for mounting, allowing for the manufacture of a single housing for production of differing lighting products or lamp assemblies. Additionally, structural elements of a housing may support printed circuit boards, electronics, test devices, and the like, as well as permit electrical connections to be accomplished during assembly of front and back portions of the housing without the need for fasteners requiring tools.

  • Publication number: 20060176821
Abstract: In order to generate high bandwidth traffic in a digital communication network that uses direct addressing message distribution, the present message traffic generation system uses existing external signaling drivers to initiate stimulus message traffic over low speed links. In the present message traffic generation system, a low bandwidth message generator is used in combination with reciprocating message distribution methods to generate high bandwidth stimulus message traffic and thereby verify the high bandwidth utilization of the high bandwidth transport mediums and the switching system nodes they interconnect.

  • Publication number: 20040193448
Abstract: A method and apparatus for HIPAA compliant outpatient process automation is provided. The method includes prompting a user to select at least one anonymous or patient specific application. If the user selects an anonymous application, the method includes receiving from the user anonymous query information and matching the anonymous query information to anonymous information stored in a database, and thereafter displaying guidance based upon the matched anonymous information. If the user selects a patient specific application, the method includes receiving from the user patient specific query information and matching the patient specific query information to patient specific information stored in a database, and thereafter displaying guidance based upon the matched patient specific information.
