The male and female couplers may be coupled together to thereby couple the first and second furniture parts together to form the assembled article of furniture. The male and female couplers may include engagement features that facilitate the coupling of the furniture parts together and to prevent them from becoming detached during normal use of the assembled article of furniture.

In one aspect, there may be a cabinet including a housing defining a cavity having an opening, the housing including a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall. A support rod may be supported within the cavity of the housing to extend between the first and second sidewalls of the housing. There may be at least one storage receptacle having a mounting element, so that the at least one storage receptacle is slidably mounted to the support rod by engagement between the mounting element of the storage receptacle and the support rod. The storage system may not include a cabinet in all embodiments and the support rod or member may instead be mounted on a support surface such as a wall.

The rear cover may overlie the first portion of the hanging bracket. The rear cover may have an interior surface, an exterior surface, and a cover slit that extends from the interior surface to the exterior surface. The second portion of the hanging bracket may extend through the cover slit of the rear cover and protrude from the exterior surface of the rear cover. The second portion of the hanging bracket may be configured to engage a hanging member to hang the hanging apparatus.

The cam lock has a longitudinal axis and a receiving cavity that is configured to receive a distal portion of the portion of the surface mounting element. The cam lock is configured to be locked to the surface mounting element by rotating the cam lock about the longitudinal axis while the distal portion of the portion of the surface mounting element is located within the receiving cavity of the cam lock.
