  • Patent number: 11235635
Abstract: An active suspension system is configured in a strut arrangement. The active suspension system comprises a hydraulic actuator and a hydraulic pump/electric motor assembly, wherein the actuator movement is preferably in lockstep with the hydraulic motor-pump and electric motor-generator combination. Torque in the electric motor is instantaneously controlled by a controller to create an immediate force change on the hydraulic actuator. The hydraulic actuator is configured so that it can be used as a strut whereby the actuator has sufficient structural rigidity to carry the applied suspension loads while capable of supplying damper forces in at least three quadrants of the force velocity graph of the suspension actuator operation. Embodiments disclosed include low cost active suspension systems for a MacPherson strut application.

  • Publication number: 20220028426
Abstract: A video content collection system for equipping non-technical users with a content collection platform on a computing device having a camera, such as a mobile phone or tablet, that creates custom strategic video stories maximizing story-craft toward a particular aim and possibly having a positive effect on individuals involved in the stories. The platform allows for the creation of custom videos according to a selected template following a storytelling framework. The custom videos are compiled, potentially with release forms and a default arrangement following the storytelling framework and provided to a final content generation system to generate the final content and save it in a data store accessible to the computing device. The final content generation system, internally or externally to the computing device, performs editing tasks to return a final video or generates desired final content based on scoring of the custom video and processed data therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20220024392
Abstract: The invention provides a system and apparatus to fill, transport and discharge up to 50 or more gallons of RV black water and/or grey water (sewage) in the bed of a pickup truck/RV tow vehicle without the use of wheels or attaching to the rear of the tow vehicle. Innovation is accomplished through the design of the tank which incorporates a main body with a bottom mounted inlet/outlet port, and uniquely designed drain hose management structure comprising a friction grip trough and locking hose rest, which facilitate the use of a standard 2? RV Compartment hose to fill or drain the tank. Further innovation is achieved by the system of keeping the tank stationary in the vehicle thus eliminating the lifting and pulling of a filled tank.

  • Publication number: 20210364021
Abstract: A latching mechanism includes a body having a trip-latch with a protruding portion that protrudes from the body, a release button coupled to a release shaft disposed inside the body, and a holding edge disposed on the release shaft. The holding edge engages the trip-latch to maintain the release button in a depressed position. The holding edge disengages the trip-latch to place the release button in a non-depressed position in response to urging the protruding portion of the trip latch toward the rotatable body. The latching mechanism may also include a spring coupled to the release shaft that urges the release button to a non-depressed position. The latching mechanism may also include a spring coupled to the protruding portion of the trip-latch that urges the trip-latch to protrude from the body.
