  • Publication number: 20160024924
Abstract: A thermal engine includes an expansion fluid pump which propels water from an expansion fluid tank into an electrolytic cell having an anode and a cathode, which generates a quantity of oxyhydrogen from the water; and propels the oxyhydrogen into one of an engine cylinder and an exhaust chamber, whereupon oxyhydrogen propelled into the cylinder expands abruptly into steam in the intake chamber to increase pressure within the cylinder and thereby enhance thermal engine power, and oxyhydrogen propelled into the heat exchanger cools the water vapor back into liquid water, which generates a vacuum within the exhaust chamber to increase the power of the thermal engine.

Abstract: A time-of-flight (TOF) camera system includes a radiation source, a radiation detector, a location sensor system and a processor. The radiation source is configured to generate and emit a radiation that strikes a target object. The radiation detector is configured to detect the radiation reflected from the target object and generate a sample set comprising at least two raw samples detected in succession at different times based on the reflected radiation. The location sensor system is configured to detect movements of the TOF camera during the detection and generate a movement signal having portions thereof uniquely corresponding to each of the raw samples of the sample set based on the movements of the TOF camera, wherein a portion of the movement signal is detected at a same time of generating the corresponding raw sample.

  • Publication number: 20150324065
Abstract: Methods are provided for providing a user with real-time access to supplemental information about named entities that appear within a conversation in a messaging application on a user terminal. Named entities, conversational topics, and sentiments are recognized as the user enters messages into the application. These are provided to a semantic search engine in a server system, that classifies the named entities into one of a variety of domains. Each domain has an associated tool for retrieving detailed supplemental information about the named entity. The server system transmits, to the user terminal, indicia that allow the user terminal to retrieve the supplemental information. Advertising related to a named entity having favorable sentiment also may be transmitted to the user terminal for display. These functions occur without the need for a separate search interface in the messaging application.

The first modulation switch is further configured to alternate connections between the current source and ground at a frequency in a desired range of operation to produce an AC current. In some embodiments, an RC circuit element is coupled to an output electrode of the light emitting element and configured to apply a reverse bias to decrease turn-off time of the light emitting element. In some embodiments, a second modulation switch is coupled to the output electrode and configured to apply the reverse bias across the light emitting element. Other systems and methods are also disclosed.
