  • Patent number: 9729504
Abstract: A method of near real-time global geographical IP address automated lookup utilizes an automated system continually performing a plurality of IP address location discovery techniques including traceroute automation, global server triangulation other geo IP discovery techniques and rolling cross checks across the system to build and maintain a global geo IP database with known geo locations of IP addresses. The geo IP database may be utilized to request the geo location of a specific IP address, and if the geo location of the specific IP address is unknown the system attempts to acquire the geo location of the specific IP address using the IP address location discovery techniques.

  • Publication number: 20170132891
Abstract: A security tag with a housing, a swivel head, electronic security device, a chamber, a swivel lock, and a locking pin. The housing has two housing sections and first and second ends. The electronic security device is disposed between the two housing sections. The chamber is connected to the first end of the housing and has an opening. The swivel lock is connected to a disc by a neck. The disc is rotatably disposed in the chamber and the neck passes through the opening in the chamber. The locking pin engages the swivel lock to secure an article to the tag.

  • Publication number: 20170048104
Abstract: A method of using a proxy network to normalize online connections uses a global proxy network (GPN) to manage connections between a plurality of local proxy clients and a destination server. First, an optimization process is executed for the overall network connection between each local proxy client and the destination server. The latency of each optimized connection are then examined to determine a normalization point, which corresponds to the highest latency among the optimized connections. The rest of the connections are then adjusted to conform to the normalization point by adding latency to the connections to match the latency of the normalization point.

  • Publication number: 20170043249
Abstract: A method of using cloud infrastructure and virtualization for bandwidth-efficient remote video streaming of software application operation allows end users to stream their interaction with a software application on their computer, video gaming software applications in particular, to viewers while requiring minimal bandwidth to do so. User input and relevant application data is sent from the client computer to a remote server, which uses a thin client to mirror the software and produce a rendered video from the received data. The remote server then sends the rendered application video to viewers.

  • Publication number: 20150178779
Abstract: A webpage is opened and a set of advertisements is created based on a request transmitted to an advertisement server. A campaign database returns an optimized set of advertisements selected from the set of advertisements. A request impression is transmitted to a tracking database. A formatted advertisement set is transmitted to, and displayed on, the webpage. In response to a click event selecting an advertisement from the formatted advertisement set, the tracking server matches the consumer to the request impression. The tracking server records the matching of the click event and an advertiser bid at the time the request impression was transmitted. The advertising server sets an advertisement cookie and directs the consumer browser to an advertiser landing page. A second request is transmitted to the tracking server when the user viewing a conversion page. The tracking server matches the advertisement cookie to the request impression and records a conversion.

  • Patent number: 8838950
Abstract: The present invention provides for authenticating code and/or data and providing a protected environment for execution. The present invention provides for dynamically partitioning and un-partitioning a local store for the authentication of code or data. The local store is partitioned into an isolated and non-isolated section. Code or data is loaded into the isolated section. The code or data is authenticated in the isolated section of the local store. After authentication, the code is executed. After execution, the memory within the isolated region of the attached processor unit is erased, and the attached processor unit de-partitions the isolated section within the local store.

  • Publication number: 20140228178
Abstract: Described here are devices and methods for strengthening the thenar muscles of the hand. Generally, a device comprises a base shaped to be held in the hand, a thumb rest having a hinge attached to the base such that one end of the thumb rest can be pivoted relative to the base, and an elastic member attached to the base and the thumb rest, which resists the pivoting motion of the thumb rest relative to the base. The user can place the device in his or her hand, and place his or her thumb on the thumb rest. When the user presses the thumb rest toward the base with his or her thumb, the elastic member supplies a force resisting the pressing motion, which exercises the thenar muscles.

Abstract: A tag assembly for a faucet that includes a housing, a cover and an electronic article surveillance tag. The housing has a base plate with a top side, a bottom side and a perimeter, an internal wall defining a first section and a second section on the bottom side and an outer perimetrical side wall. The first section has an opening in the base plate defined by an inner perimetrical side wall. One or more flexible members extend into the opening from the inner perimetrical side wall. The second section has a compartment for an electronic article surveillance tag enclosed by the cover and bounded by the internal wall and the outer perimetrical side wall. The threaded pipe on a faucet is inserted in the opening of the tag assembly housing and the flexible members engage the threads to secure the tag assembly.

  • Publication number: 20140101331
Abstract: A method and system for optimizing internet traffic from a Local Area Network (LAN) to an internet based server utilizes a specific gamer private network (GPN) for the classified latency sensitive internet data. The method includes the steps of creating a gateway computer or a master-slaver computer (device) system within a local area network (LAN), and making this gateway computer control the internet data from any device within the LAN to an outside internet based server. The gateway computer sorts the internet data into various categories, including latency sensitive, bandwidth sensitive and exclusion that is neither latency sensitive nor bandwidth sensitive. Based on these classification results, the internet data within various categories are sent out via the respective routes, so as to achieve a smooth and efficient internet data transmission.
