  • Publication number: 20070277987
Abstract: An electrical combination. The electrical combination includes a power tool having a housing supporting a motor, the motor being operable to drive a tool element and including a hand grip, a battery, and a locking assembly supported by one of the battery and the housing of the power tool for selectively securing the battery to the housing. The locking assembly includes a movable locking member and an actuator movable relative to one of the battery and the housing to move the locking member. The actuator moves along both a first path and a second path different from the first path between a locking position, in which the locking member secures the battery to the housing, and an unlocked position, in which the battery is removable from the power tool.

  • Publication number: 20070236602
Abstract: A pulldown format for PAL that is useful for material that will be provided to an editing system mixes fields from different input frames in only one output frame per second. This one output frame includes the odd or even field from the previous frame and the odd or even field from the subsequent frame. More particularly, twenty-four frames are mapped into fifty fields or frames, which are then played at a rate of fifty fields or frames per second. In this format, there is only one output frame per second in which the fields are from two different input frames. To recreate the original twenty-four frame per second sequence, the frame including the different fields is simply dropped as a whole frame.

  • Publication number: 20070131443
Abstract: A combination electrical box and mounting bracket assembly is provided which includes an electrical box and a mounting bracket attached to the electrical box. The mounting bracket is configured and dimensioned for enabling the mounting bracket to be secured to a truss joist, especially to a floor truss joist, such as a TGI floor I truss joist. The mounting bracket is contoured to resemble the shape of a portion of the floor truss joist at which the mounting bracket is secured to. The combination assembly significantly reduces the force applied to the electrical box by electrical equipment and/or devices connected to wires/cable received by the electrical box as compared to prior art mounting brackets by distributing the force to a larger surface area of the mounting bracket and truss joist.

  • Publication number: 20070127314
Abstract: A resistivity logging tool suitable for downhole use includes a transmitter and two spaced apart receivers. The measured signals are inverted to determine the distance to an overpressured zone in the earth formation. The overpressured zone may be a transition zone in resistivity. The direction of drilling may be controlled based on the determined distance. Optionally, seismic-while drilling measurements may be made from which a separate estimate of the distance can be obtained. The SWD® measurements may also be processed to estimate the pore pressure.

  • Patent number: 7193628
Abstract: Provided is a technique for displaying information. Initially, a number of data points is obtained, each data point including an estimated statistic. A measure of the statistical significance for each estimated statistic also is obtained, and a graph of the data points is displayed. According to this aspect of the invention, a display characteristic (such as intensity, size, brightness, hue, saturation or any other color characteristic) of each data point is a function of the measure of statistical significance of the estimated statistic included in such data point.

  • Patent number: 7165670
Abstract: Commercial production transport systems, mechanisms, and guides for food processing are configured so as to automate food transport. The system can direct food to travel serially over side-by-side predetermined travel lanes using one or more of a pick-up mechanism and/or router guide channels to pick-up and/or laterally translate the food product form the first travel lane to the second travel lane so that it travels greater than one, and typically a plurality, of revolutions about a tier or level in a vertically stacked food processing unit before moving to the next tier. Associated methods redirect and/or laterally translate food being transported in an automated food processing system.

  • Publication number: 20070012581
Abstract: An improved, highly efficient, readily-accessible, easily manipulated, adjustable, reusable protective polyethylene (preferred embodiment) garment bag. The garment bag's bottom front panel is higher than the opposing back panel. A releasable pressure sensitive closure strip is attached at the bottom edge of the inside back panel. The closure strip is peeled back exposing a resealable pressure sensitive adhesive. The bottom end of the adhesive backed panel is positioned to the desired level of adjustment on the front panel and adhered to the outside of the opposing front panel using light fintertip pressure. The hanging garment is secured inside the bag by adhering the adhesive backed panel to the outside of the opposing front panel. The level of placement of the adhesive backed panel creates a fold in the bag that should be at or near the hem or bottom of the hanging garment enclosed within the bag.

  • Publication number: 20060273008
Abstract: The present invention is an adsorber membrane and a device containing one or more such membranes. Both the membrane and the device have a Peclet number (Pe) of at least 100. The membrane and the device are designed for the removal of trace contaminants in protein containing streams such as exist in the biopharmaceutical industry. A preferred membrane has tight pore size distribution and high permeabilities that allow for high throughput separations. A device of the present invention can contain a flat sheet membrane such as a pleated filter, a tangential flow filter or a spiral wound filter. Preferably, the device is formed in a stacked disk arrangement where one or more layers of membrane are sealed to each of the two large surface of the disk. One such device is formed of a series of disks, each disk having eight layers of membranes sealed to each of the two large surfaces of the disk. These disks are placed within a sealed capsule having an inlet on one end and an outlet on the other.

  • Publication number: 20060233248
Abstract: An image sequence captured at a first image rate is encoded as an encoded image sequence at a second image rate with information in the encoded image sequence indicative of images that are repeated when decoded. To assist in editing a video program using the encoded image sequence, the information in the encoded image sequence indicative of images that are repeated when decoded may be cleared. Further, image index information for the encoded image sequence may be generated. This image index information is used to map a temporal position of an image in a decoded image sequence to a position of corresponding data in the encoded image sequence. Temporal positions used with the image index information correspond to the first image rate. Editing a video program involves defining a sequence of clips that reference source encoded image sequences using edit points. Each clip has a start and end points in its corresponding source and a position for the clip in the edited video program.
