  • Publication number: 20170164647
Abstract: The disclosed method describes a process for creating brined peanuts that have improved crunch and flavor characteristics compared with conventional peanuts. The nuts are soaked in a brine solution comprising at least 10% salt by weight and water for 6-16 hours. In some embodiments, the brine solution includes other heat tolerant flavors, such as cayenne pepper, hot sauce and capsicum extract. The nuts are drained for at least one hour to a moisture level of 21-24% water by weight. The nuts are then oil roasted at 305° F. for 11 minutes via a technique that fully enrobes the nuts in hot oil, such as a full submersion fry.

  • Publication number: 20090090522
Abstract: The invention includes a cutter drum (2) having at least one or multiple sharpened discs attached to it sections the earth. A pressure face (15) limits the cutter drum's penetration into the earth. The cutter drum's axle (12) is mounted to a frame (1). A pivoting mount (5) allow the device to move in an arc. Down pressure and depth of cutter drum penetration into the earth is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder (3) that connects the device's frame (1) to another frame structure (4) on the material transport platform (a truck, for example) on which the device is mounted.

  • Patent number: 7370844
Abstract: The “Universal Utility Trailer” Tilter is designed to be portable and lightweight. This will enable the user to insert it into a standard 2? receiver hitch on a tow vehicle. Upon attaching the Trailer Tilter to the vehicle the operator can attach any one of a number of Utility Trailers to the Trailer Tilters 2? ball. By removing the locking pin and operating the mechanism the operator can raise the front of the Utility Trailer thus lowering the rear to a desired level for loading equipment, cars or material. The lowering of the rear of the Utility Trailer until the ramps are level with the bed will prevent the equipment from dragging on either the front or middle while loading. Once loaded the operator can lower the Tilter back to its locking position and insert the locking pin for towing.

  • Publication number: 20070241567
Abstract: A fluid flow energy capture device for power generation has a rotor with a substantially vertical axis and a plurality of vanes. A mount for the rotor allows the rotor to rotate in response to fluid flow such as wind contacting the plurality of vanes, and the mount puts the rotor in rotationally driving communication with a generator. The rotor has an open center which allows fluid communication from spaces between the vanes to above the rotor. A plurality of guide surfaces define channels that bias fluid flow to be tangential to the rotor.
