  • Publication number: 20230359415
Abstract: A facility for managing a document conversion environment is described. In various embodiments, the facility includes a native application associated with a native document type and an isolation service. The isolation service determines whether a native application associated with the native document type has started and when it has not started, starts the native application and causes the started native application to load and convert a native document to a common document format, wherein the isolation service starts a single instance of the native application and monitors the single instance of the native application so that it complies with specified a parameter, condition, or setting of operation.

  • Publication number: 20230289317
Abstract: A system arrangement and method are provided for allowing the operation of units in a fail safe manner and at low latency. The teachings suggest a specific protocol which allows switching and routing of packages for addressing and controlling light emitting diodes and reading out sensors. The information is distributed according to very specific requirements of the underlying topology and application domain. As light emitting diodes and sensors may affect the reliability of security features in a vehicle specialized approaches have to be provided considering both real-time requirements and reliability. In such a method, a branch device can change its operation mode without an explicit command but, in general, a command may provide an expiry condition of a mode after which the mode returns to its previous mode. Such an expiry condition may be the reception of a predefined number of specific network events.

  • Patent number: 10652423
Abstract: A configurable document server is described. In some embodiments, the configurable document server can enable administrators to set an option that prevents documents from being routed to users when the configurable document server experiences some types of errors. When the configurable document server determines that such an error condition exists, it may prevent the routing of the corresponding document. By preventing documents causing errors from being routed, the configurable document server enables administrators to improve the accuracy of document workflow and thereby improve productivity of users.
