  • Publication number: 20160249182
Abstract: A fixed content server stores electronic content for delivery to a nomadic server on a vehicle. A schedule for arrival and departure of the vehicle transporting the nomadic server at a destination location is obtained, and a destination content server is identified. An electronic package is generated to contain an identifier for the vehicle and an identifier for the destination content server. Delivery of the electronic package to the destination content server at the destination location is initiated based on the schedule for arrival of the vehicle transporting the nomadic server to the destination location so delivery of the electronic package is initiated while the vehicle is traveling to the destination location. A time is determined to upload the electronic package from the destination content server to the nomadic server of the vehicle. Quality of service that a network uses to deliver the electronic package is provisioned based thereon.

  • Patent number: 9334828
Abstract: An engine has a cylinder head with a deck face defining first and second chambers adjacent to one another and separated by a bore bridge. The body defines a first cooling jacket and a second cooling jacket configured to operate at a lower pressure than the first cooling jacket. The first cooling jacket is positioned substantially between the deck face and the second cooling jacket. The first cooling jacket has a series of passages intersecting the deck face and configured to receive coolant from a cylinder block cooling jacket. The second cooling jacket has an inlet passage intersecting the deck face adjacent to the bore bridge and configured to receive coolant from the cylinder block cooling jacket to cool the bore bridge.

  • Publication number: 20150233505
Abstract: A vehicle fluid line for transporting high and low pressure fluids of an engine includes a rigid pipe having opposing ends configured to fixedly couple with the engine. An adjustable joint divides a length of the rigid tube into first and second segments. The adjustable joint has a cylindrical housing coupled with the first segment and having an inner diameter. A stop feature protrudes from an outer diameter of the second segment and interfaces with the cylindrical housing to prevent disengagement of the second segment from the housing. An elastomeric grommet is seated between the inner and outer diameters and is configured to maintain a fluid seal that allows the second segment to rotate axially, pivot radially, and slide longitudinally within the cylindrical housing.

  • Publication number: 20080209254
Abstract: A method and system for error recovery of a hardware device is provided. The method includes detecting a target hard error indication from the hardware device by comparing the hard error indication to signatures of hard error indications which indicate a temporary failing and modifying the reported error to a stalling indication. The hardware device is allowed to recover in a predefined time period or by issuing one or more resets, or both. A hard error indication usually instigates an external error recovery of the hardware device and the method temporarily stalls such external error recovery.

  • Patent number: 6474372
Abstract: The apparatus is for batching different flowable materials, e.g. “small chemicals” in the correct proportions by weight. A plurality of bulk material supply stations 14 are connected to a compact, space filling array of weighing hoppers 18 via relatively short screw 20 and/or vibratory conveyors 22. As shown, two conveyors serve each weighing 10 hopper 18. The weighing hoppers 18 are mounted upon off-centre load cells 24 and discharge into a containment cone 36 and a discharge funnel 37 for leading the weighed material batches into bagging apparatus 38.
