  • Publication number: 20050019094
Abstract: The ‘Simple-File’ is a new product for the filing system industry and was designed to assist the medical community in replacing large, bulky folders. The product incorporates a file folder and internal index tab dividers, preassembled with a double loop wire (wire-o) binding. The ‘Simple-File’ system allows the index tab dividers to easily turn, lie flat and open flat, functioning much like a book. The internal tab dividers are furnished with side or bottom tabs, printed on one or two sides. Each divider includes metal fasteners, heat-bonded to the front and/or back of the divider for easy insertion or removal of material. The number of dividers required per assembly can be customized to fit the filing system requirements.

  • Patent number: 6681911
Abstract: The invention concerns a vibration damping device (2). This includes at least two elements—a primary element (3.1) and a secondary element (3.2), which are limited in movement in relation to each other. The primary element (3.1) and the secondary element (3.2) can be coupled together using a spring coupling. The means to implement spring coupling include at least one spring device (4.1, 4.N). Based on the invention, there is at least one adjustable clutch device (15, 15′), including at least two elements (16, 17; 16′, 17′) rubbing against each other, which bring primary and secondary elements (3.1, 3.2) into friction contact. In addition, there is a power generator or force producing device (39) to produce a controllable friction contact for the elements rubbing against each other (16, 17; 16′, 17′).

  • Patent number: 5809077
Abstract: A circuit in which driver units are associated with data networks that are coupled through at least two single transmission channels is provided. The driver units have a logical signal input and a logical signal output on their sides facing away from the data network, with the signal input or signal output of one driver unit being connected with the signal output or signal input of the other driver unit through a signal transmission channel in each case for coupling each of two data networks. A logical coupling control unit is looped into the coupling signal transmission channels. The unit blocks the signal path to the other signal transmission channel when predetermined blocking signal information appears on one signal transmission channel. This ensures that feedback and oscillation effects are suppressed during the transmission of signals over the transmission channels. The circuit can be used for coupling CAN data networks in motor vehicles.

  • Patent number: 5517880
Abstract: A bottom die for a stamping tool for producing cardboard blanks consists of a composite plate made from a support foil and a top layer consisting of phenol-resin bonded paper with a textile insert. Scoring grooves are milled into the top layer of phenol-resin bonded paper to serve as a counter contour of the top die of the stamping tool. The bottom die can be removably disposed on the bottom tool plate of a stamping machine by means of an adhesive layer which is self-adhesive on both sides. According to the invention, the scoring grooves are formed through the top resin bonded paper layer of the bottom die to the level of the flexible support foil, whereby the bottom die is given a relatively large degree of flexibility. Thus, a repeated use of the bottom die sheet is possible. In addition, a method for producing a bottom die for a stamping tool, employing the above-described die, is disclosed.
