Abstract: A multilayer substrate material configured to be applied to a back surface of an upholstery or mattress textile fabric and a front surface configured to contact a user of the upholstery or mattress textile fabric. The multilayer substrate material includes protector, adhesive, film and backcoat layers. The adhesive layer is applied to the protector layer and formed of a number of discrete and non-continuous regions. The film layer is applied to the adhesive layer. The number of discrete and non-continuous regions include an interface between the protector layer and the film layer such that the protector layer touches the film layer at the interface. The backcoat layer is applied to the film layer and includes a non-acrylic binder and a flame retardant material. • Patent number: 10805282
Abstract: A notification system automatically sends notifications to users based on the defined roles of the notifications. The notification system allows an application to define in a secure manner users to roles. The notification system also allows the users to register in a secure manner their devices with the notification system. The notification system allows the application to then send a notification to users with a target role. Upon receiving the notification, the notification system identifies the devices of the users with the target role and sends the notification to those devices.

  • Patent number: 10789288
Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for relational image querying. A system may receive a search query for content from a client device, where the query specifies one or more objects and one or more spatial relationships between the one or more objects. The system may generate a query vector for the query using a computer-operated neural language model. The system may compare the query vector to an indexed vector for each of the one or more spatial relationships between the one or more objects of an image. The system may determine a listing of relational images from a collection of images based on the comparison. The system may determine a ranking for each image in the listing of relational images, and provide search results responsive to the search query to the client device, which may include a prioritized listing of the relational images based on the determined ranking.

  • Publication number: 20200294045
Abstract: Methods and systems disclosed herein relate to managing an interaction between a sender and one or more receivers. The system may receive an assent request message specifying one or more receivers and/or resources. The system may transmit assent request notification(s) to the receiver(s), via temporary resource provider interfaces, messages, and/or social network interfaces. A subset of the receivers may commit to receiving a resource. The receivers may be validated via a trusted identity database. If a receiver has a valid interaction assertion in the database, then the system may generate an interaction credential for the receiver and a commitment object. The system may process data to facilitate the transfer of the resource. Upon the receiver receiving the resource, the interaction credential may be redeemed. The system may cease availability of the temporary resource provider interfaces after a predetermined time after the sender leaves an arbitrary location.

  • Publication number: 20200286619
Abstract: A method and system for providing a data analysis in the form of a customized geographic visualization on a graphical user interface (GUI) on a remote client computing device using only a web browser on the remote client device. The system receives a user's selected data analysis to be performed by the system for display on the remote client device. The system verifies the data access permissions of the user to render a data analysis solution customized to that particular user, and automatically prevents that user from gaining access to data analysis solutions to which that user is prohibited. The system is configured to respond to the user's data analysis request, perform the necessary computations on the server side on the fly, and send a dataset interpretable by the client device's web browser for display on the client device or on a device associated with the client device.

  • Publication number: 20200264003
Abstract: A route is selected for travel by an autonomous vehicle based on at least a level of difficulty of traversing the driving environment along that route. Vehicle signals, provided by one or more autonomous vehicles, indicating a difficulty associated with traveling a portion of a route are collected and used to predict a most favorable driving route for a given time. The signals may indicate a probability of disengaging from autonomous driving mode, a probability of being stuck for an unduly long time, traffic density, etc. A difficulty score may be computed for each road segment of a route, and then the scores of all of the road segments of the route are added together. The scores are based on number of previous disengagements, previous requests for remote assistance, unprotected left or right turns, whether parts of the driving area are occluded, etc. The difficulty score is used to compute a cost for a particular route, which may be compared to costs computed for other possible routes.

  • Patent number: 10730604
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to inserts for use with sandwich panels, such as composite panels, and related methods. Presently disclosed inserts may include a retention feature and/or an anti-rotation feature that may be configured to retain the insert in place within a bore formed in the sandwich panel. In this manner, presently disclosed inserts may be secured without the use of adhesive compounds, which may increase efficiency and/or reduce costs in manufacturing apparatus that include one or more sandwich panels having one or more inserts placed therein. Presently disclosed methods of installing an insert into a sandwich panel may include rotating the insert with respect to the sandwich panel as the insert is installed, such that a portion of the insert may be positioned under the skin of the sandwich panel (e.g., a portion of the insert may be positioned between the skin and the core of the sandwich panel).
