  • Patent number: 9817446
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing merchant/customer interaction include determining that a tablet computer is in a merchant orientation, retrieving merchant product information according to a received instruction and merchant orientation information, and displaying a merchant screen on the tablet computer that includes the merchant product information according to the merchant orientation information. A change in the orientation of the tablet computer enclosure/stand is then detected from the merchant orientation to a customer orientation. In response, the merchant screen is transitioned on the tablet computer display to a customer screen as the tablet computer enclosure/stand changes orientations by moving the merchant screen and the customer screen linearly while in a stacked orientation.

  • Patent number: 9756032
Abstract: A computing device, a system, and a method are provided to receive a number of inputs associated with one or more sensors of the computing device. One or more processors are configured to determine input data based on the number of inputs and authenticate a user account based on the input data. A communication interface is enabled to communicate with one or more devices based on the authentication. Further, the system may aggregate the input data based on the number of inputs. The system may determine identity data of the user account based on the aggregation. The system may transmit an indication of the identity data to the computing device.

  • Publication number: 20160247156
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for provisioning resources from a first user account to a second user and wearable device for use in a secure transaction. The system may include an electronic payment system having an account for a first user who may allocate funds to a second user's wearable device for utilization in an electronic payment transaction. The recipient and the recipient's device are authenticated to the electronic payment system. The first user may establish automated allocation rules for funding the second user's device and restrictions on the use of the funds. The wearable device may be a bracelet including a sensing element detecting when the recipient is wearing the device, a secure element storing authentication information and a transaction module facilitating the secure transaction and disabling the bracelet when the sensing element detects the bracelet is not properly secured to the recipient.

  • Publication number: 20160196558
Abstract: A system or a method is provided that detects or establishes a connected network of personal or wearable devices of a user whereby the number and type of devices connected to that network are used to determine a security or confidence level for a particular transaction being attempted. The personal or wearable devices may include one or more of a smart watch, a mobile phone, a car, a smart belt buckle, smart key fob, or any other personal or wearable devices. Information indicating the number and composition on the various connected devices may be communicated from a user device requesting a payment transaction to a merchant or a payment service provider. The information indicating the number and composition of connected devices may be used for risk assessment to determine the confidence level or security level for the transaction requested by the user.
