  • Publication number: 20150251624
Abstract: A tether fastening device for an automobile body structure includes a fastener clip, at least one tether strap, a tether clip bracket, a clip strap coupler, and a bracket strap coupler. The clip strap coupler operably couples to a slot in the automobile chassis. The tether clip bracket attaches to the fastener clip when in an attached position. The bracket strap coupler is attached to the body panel. The tether strap allows for controlled detachment between the clip strap coupler and the bracket strap coupler. The strap may include a mesh to absorb the deployment energy and decelerate the body panel in a controlled manner. In the event of an airbag activation, the tether clip bracket and the fastener clip initially accelerate and then decelerate from each other. The pair of tether straps control the deceleration and separation distance of the clip strap coupler and bracket strap coupler.

  • Publication number: 20150088450
Abstract: A position-measuring device includes a position-sensing unit, a processing unit, an interface unit, a clock generator and a time measurement unit position-sensing unit configured to generate digital position values. The processing unit processes instructions from subsequent electronics. The interface unit communicates with the subsequent electronics, according to rules of an interface protocol, via at least one interface line that transmits interface signals having a temporal behavior that is determined by the interface protocol so as to transmit the instructions from the subsequent electronics to the processing unit. The clock generator generates a clock signal that serves as a time base for functions of the position-sensing unit and the processing unit. The time measurement unit uses the clock signal as a time base, receives at least one interface signal and measures a time interval between a start event and a stop event of the at least one interface signal.

  • Patent number: 8931099
Abstract: Computer system, method and program product for identifying a malicious intrusion. A first number of different destination IP addresses, a second number of different destination ports and a third number of different signatures of messages, are identified from a source IP address during a predetermined period. A determination is made that in one or more other such predetermined periods the source IP address sent messages having the first number of different destination IP addresses, the second number of different destination ports and the third number of different signatures. Based on the determination that in the one or more other such predetermined periods the source IP address sent messages having the first number of different destination IP addresses, the second number of different destination ports and the third number of different signatures, a determination is made that the messages are characteristic of a malicious intrusion.

  • Publication number: 20140378304
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous agrochemical spray solution containing an agrochemical active and a surfactant. The spray solution comprises a dispersed phase comprising dispersed particles which have an average particle size between 1 to 100 microns and the concentration of said dispersed particles is from about 0.001 to 5 wt %. The aqueous agrochemical spray solution is capable of reducing the volume of the fine droplets in mist whose size is less than 150 microns during spraying by at least 20% compared to the same aqueous spray solution without the presence of the surfactant. The present invention also relates to a method of reducing the spray drift of an aqueous agrochemical spray solution upon spraying with a spraying apparatus. The method includes adding the surfactant to the aqueous agrochemical spray solution in an amount effective to form the dispersed phase.

  • Publication number: 20140352622
Abstract: A raised and sealed litter tray enclosure appropriate for placement indoors or connected to the exterior of a dwelling. The raised litter enclosure improves ergonomics during maintenance and cleaning by raising the litter tray/s and placing them on ball bearing drawer slides. The sealing of the litter tray to the floor of the enclosure limits odor transport; and for exterior mounted enclosures this seal prevents heat loss. The hinged subfloor allows for angular travel to unseal the litter tray and provides clearance for the subfloor assembly's opening travel.

  • Publication number: 20140344479
Abstract: A method for transferring data between a position-measuring device and an associated processing unit includes transferring first data having a first priority in successive cycles from the position-measuring device to the processing unit. The successive cycles are in each case initiated by a request command by the processing unit requesting the first data from the position-measuring device. Second data having a second, lower priority is transferred from the position-measuring device to the processing unit in at least a portion of the successive cycles with the first data. Types of the second data being transferred in a respective one of the successive cycles are variable. At least one particular type, of the types of the second data to be transferred, is assigned to individual cycles of the successive cycles using information stored in the position-measuring device without involvement of the processing unit.
