  • Publication number: 20240112147
Abstract: This disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods related to providing assistance services to a disabled vehicle. In an example embodiment, a method executed by a first processor in a vehicle may involve detecting an event that places the vehicle in a disabled condition; transmitting information associated with the event to a second processor; and detecting an arrival of a assistance vehicle that is dispatched by the second processor based on an automated evaluation of the information associated with the event. The second processor, which can be, for example, a part of a server computer, may evaluate the information in order to identify an assistance vehicle having equipment for providing the assistance service. In an example scenario, the disabled vehicle and/or the assistance vehicle can be an autonomous vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20220041362
Abstract: A blister and package system made of a blister card and an outer package with unique interacting locking mechanisms. The blister card or strip is inserted into the outer package or sleeve and locks immediately without having to further process the outer package or the blister card or strip. The user is able to expose the blisters from the outer package by disengaging the lock. The blister card or strip includes a formable, pliable sheet material, into which one or more individual cavities or blisters are formed. The separated cavities are loaded with product and sealed with one or more layers of puncturable or tearable sheet material, such as aluminum foil. The blister card or strip contains a plastic rivet assembly that forms an interference mechanism. The rivet is trapped by an internally formed panel and stopped by a catch flap included in the outer package.

  • Publication number: 20220036265
Abstract: Methods, computer systems, computer-storage media, and graphical user interfaces are provided for enhancing remote work productivity data. In one embodiment, worker data is obtained for a set of target workers and a set of control workers. The target workers are generally identified as working in the office prior to a treatment date and working remote after a treatment date, and the control workers are generally identified as working remote before and after the treatment date. Thereafter, an effect of working remotely is determined using a difference-in-differences model that measures differences in observational changes between the set of target workers and the set of control workers measured before and after the treatment date. The effect of working remotely can be used to generate a generating a productivity score indicating an extent of productivity in relation to the set of target workers.

  • Publication number: 20190256001
Abstract: A mobile phone accessible motorcycle mirror includes a mirror housing, a phone opening, a one-way reflective surface, a stem, and a base portion. The one-way reflective surface is perimetrically connected to a rim of the mirror housing, completing a mirror section that allows the rider to see rearward. The stem tensionably and pivotably mounts the mirror housing to the handlebar of a motorcycle through the base portion. The phone opening traverses through the mirror housing, wherein the phone opening enables a mobile phone to be slidably placed behind the one-way reflective surface. Resultantly, when the mobile phone is illuminated, the mobile phone displays a GPS application of the mobile phone through the one-way reflective surface. When the mobile phone is not illuminated, the one-way reflective surface immediately returns to a completely reflective surface and a functioning mirror.
