  • Publication number: 20250259494
Abstract: A technique for controlling access to one or more attractions is achieved using a number of access keys, each being issued to one or more users. An electronic queue management part manages a virtual queue in respect of each attraction and receives electronic requests for attraction access, each request relating to an access key and being for the users associated with it to access a particular attraction. Receipt of each request causes the respective users to be added to a corresponding virtual queue. A time at which each group of users reaches the front of the virtual queue and can access the attraction is determined. The users access the attractions by presenting an access key to an access control part, in communication with the electronic queue management part. Only a user presenting an access key at the correct time for accessing the attraction is allowed access to the attraction.

  • Publication number: 20250258694
Abstract: A range finding apparatus uses a light-receiving device in which a first pixel having a first sensitivity and a second pixel having a second sensitivity that is lower than the first sensitivity are two-dimensionally arranged. The range finding apparatus measures time periods from a predetermined time until times when light is incident on each of the first pixel and the second pixel, and computes distance information for the first pixel and the second pixel based on the measured time periods. The measurement resolution used to measure the time period for the second pixel is lower than a measurement resolution used to measure the time period for the first pixel.

  • Patent number: 12384414
Abstract: Techniques for validating operation of vehicle safety system components are discussed herein. Vehicle log data processed by components of secondary systems of vehicles traversing an environment can be received which may include event metrics or be indicative of events (such as an implementation of a safety response). Such metrics may be defined by algorithm output continuity data, algorithm output feasibility data, and/or algorithm output tracking data. The log data can be utilized to test candidate safety systems to determine test event metrics. Validation of the candidate safety system components can be performed based on aggregated event metrics (such as aggregated over a fleet) meeting various criteria.
