Patent number: 7800012Abstract: An electron gun includes a sealed chamber under vacuum. A cathode having an emitting face is placed inside the chamber. An anode forms a sealed window, formed facing the emitting face in one of the walls of the chamber. The anode is capable of allowing electrons emitted by the emitting face to pass through. A biasing apparatus sets up a voltage between the anode and the cathode, capable of accelerating these electrons towards the anode, the electrons thus accelerated forming a beam that passes through the anode. The anode and the emitting face each have a curvature, the curvature of the anode making it capable of resisting a pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the chamber and being designed to cooperate with the curvature of the emitting face to focus the electron beam outside the chamber.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2004Date of Patent: September 21, 2010Assignees: La Calhene, Physique & IndustrieInventors: Michel Roche, Philippe Fontcuberta

Patent number: 7600383Abstract: The turbojet of the invention includes a combustion chamber, a channel for heating the gas stream, where the heating channel includes at least one device for injection of fuel into the gas stream, which includes an open chamber, with a U-shaped section, having at least one wall within which extend fuel-injection means, which inject the fuel in at least one direction. It is characterised by the fact that a cooling jacket is provided in the chamber, alongside the wall forming the base of its U-section, and the fuel injection device includes protection means interposed between the fuel-injection means and the wall, in a fuel-injection direction. Thus, as a result of the invention, the fuel injection device, which is bathed in a very hot environment, is protected against thermal shocks due to the projection of colder fuel onto its walls, and its life expectancy is therefore increased.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2005Date of Patent: October 13, 2009Assignee: SNECMAInventors: Jacques Marcel Arthur Bunel, Jacques André Michel Roche, Alain Pierre Page

Patent number: 5720985Abstract: In order to form separate particles from a flowable mass, the flowable mass is fed through a pipe and extruded through holes formed along a longitudinal axis thereof. The pipe is oscillated by an agitator in a direction transversely of the longitudinal axis to cause the extruded mass to be sheared-off in the form of particles. Stop members can be positioned adjacent respective sides of the pipes to be contacted by the pipe and thereby define change-of-direction points for the pipe during its oscillation. The agitator may include piezoelectric ceramics attached to the stop members.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1996Date of Patent: February 24, 1998Assignee: Santrade Ltd.Inventor: Michel Roche
