    Abstract: An intelligent system for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing a patient's relevant medical history data is disclosed. In one embodiment, a patient's medical history, including the patient's personal medical history and the patient's family medical history, may be accessed within the system. The system may be queried by doctors and other medical professionals to compare symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, and medical issues against the known medical history. Further, the intelligent system may query the medical history of family members, providing an accurate yet discreet evaluation of related health conditions that may have genetic or hereditary implications. A further embodiment utilizes the intelligent system to generate alerts on the basis of the patient's personal or family medical history.

    Abstract: A vaginal speculum is provided that has an upper arm with a handle and jaw. A cross-sectional shape of a longitudinally extending portion may be constant along its entire longitudinal length so that the height of the portion is likewise constant along its length. Right and left side flanges may extend downward from the longitudinally extending portion and a tip of the jaw. The distance between the outer surfaces of the right and left side flanges in the lateral direction may be constant along their entire lengths in the longitudinal direction. A lower arm with a jaw and handle may be included and arranged with the upper arm so that their relative position to one another can be modified.

The method may further comprise accessing the trip file from a mobile handheld device, the mobile handheld device to physically travel with the plurality of travelers on the trip. The method may further comprise checking-in the plurality of travelers by marking a traveler-present-indicator as present for each of the plurality of travelers that is physically present. The method may further comprise determining if any of the plurality of travelers is missing by comparing the traveler data and the checked-in plurality of travelers. The method may further comprise checking-out the plurality of travelers by unmarking the traveler-present-indicator for each of the plurality of travelers that is no longer physically present.
