  • Publication number: 20100101936
Abstract: The invention provides a power supply apparatus for supplying electric power to a capacitive load. The apparatus has a transformer, a positive half-period driver and a negative half-period driver supplying positive and negative half-periods of voltage to the first coil. The second coil forms an electric resonance circuit and supplies electric voltage to the load. Zero crossings of the voltage supplied to the first coil are determined from a third coil on the transformer, and alternation between positive and negative half-periods of voltage supplied to the first coil is done at the zero crossings of the voltage supplied to the first coil.

  • Publication number: 20090073310
Abstract: A shutter arrangement for covering a camera lens includes a camera lens cover that is movable in a plane along a first direction between a first closed position and a second opened position. In the first closed position, the camera lens cover substantially covers the camera lens and in the second opened position, the camera lens is substantially uncovered. The shutter arrangement also includes a movable cover that moves between a first position and a second position which displaces the movable cover from the plane.

  • Publication number: 20070291456
Abstract: A switch configured to contact an exposed contact on an edge of a multilayer circuit board when selectively activated. The switch is particularly useful for electronic equipment such as mobile phones, PDA's, etc. where space for key contacts on the circuit board is limited. By facilitating connection to terminals formed on edges of a circuit board and/or edges of layers of multilayer circuit boards, the switch provides additional options for button locations on the electronic device heretofore requiring routing of wiring.

  • Publication number: 20040116392
Abstract: A method for the preparation of homogenous microparticles containing metoprolol by a fluidized bed process. The microparticles have a size distribution of less than 250 &mgr;m and contain at least 80% by weight of metoprolol.

  • Patent number: 5848879
Abstract: A hydraulic pump includes a pump housing block, a rotary drive shaft and plural pumping assemblies extending radially from the rotary drive shaft. Each pumping assembly includes a reciprocating piston, a cylinder lining, and a piston return spring mounted between the piston and the lining. The cylinder linings are inserted into the pump block from the outside and a detachable latching device secures the linings to the block. The cylinder lining, the piston and the piston return spring can be easily removed and replaced after the latching device, for instance a locking ring, has been removed.

  • Patent number: 5730022
Abstract: A tool head comprising a fixed jaw (20), a movable jaw (21) journalled for movement towards and away from the fixed jaw, a pressure plunger-cylinder means (12-18) for driving the movable jaw, an electric control circuit (36-38, 40, 41, 51) for operating the plunger-cylinder means, and connecting means (52-55, 57) for connecting the plunger-cylinder means (12-18) and the control circuit to an electrical power and pressure-medium supply source separate from the tool head through the medium of a flexible conduit. The movable jaw (21) is guided for movement relative to the plunger-cylinder means (12-18) and is spring-biassed (22) from a retracted position in which it supports against the plunger-cylinder means towards an outwardly projected position in which it is located adjacent the fixed jaw (20).

  • Patent number: 5687567
Abstract: An independent, portable hydraulic unit (80) for powering a hydraulic tool (C), and a method for operating the tool (c) with the aid of the unit. The unit includes a hydraulic circuit (1) having a pump (19) and a power source (17) and a pump motor (18). The pump (19) is intended to pressurize the tool (C) to a first pressure level (P2). The hydraulic circuit charges the hydraulic accumulator (22) to a maximum second pressure level (P1) which is at most equal to the first pressure level (P2). A check valve (31) isolates the hydraulic accumulator (22) from the pump pressure when this pressure exceeds the second pressure level (P1). A closure valve (12) and check valve (21) are provided for enabling the charged accumulator (22) to be connected to the tool upon activation of the unit so as to power the tool. A microprocessor (70) causes the pump (19) to charge the accumulator to the second pressure level while the tool is relieved of pressure, after emptying the accumulator (22).
