    Abstract: A joint unit pivotably coupled to a tip end part of a main arm member of a Scott Russell mechanism is pivoted in two ways. A Scott Russell mechanism device pivotably couples a main arm member and a sub arm member to each other, as well as it pivotably couples a joint unit to a tip end part of the main arm member.     Abstract: A tip end part of a main arm member of a Scott Russell mechanism is enabled to be brought close to a base end part of a sub arm member. A Scott Russell mechanism device is formed into a boomerang-like shape such that a main arm member coupled to a sub arm member is curved to detour a coupling position. Thus, when the coupling angle is changed so that a base end part of the main arm member and a base end part of the sub arm member are most separated from each other, a tip end part of the main arm member can be moved close to right beside the base end part of the sub arm member. With the Scott Russell mechanism device, a moving range of the tip end side of the main arm member can be enlarged.

    Abstract: In a rotation device using a hydraulic actuator, a rotation angle range is increased. A placement member rotatable coupled to a rotary member has a projecting part on an upper face, A hydraulic actuator is arranged on a projecting face of the projecting part; the actuator and the rotary member coupled with a wire material. The projecting part is formed such that it becomes higher from a leading edge on the side of the rotary member to an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction, and becomes lower from the intermediate portion to a trailing edge. Thereby, when fluid is supplied to the actuator and shortens the actuator length, a tip of the actuator moves along the projecting face of the projecting part, and is located high, separated from the upper face of the placement member such that the rotation angle range of the rotary member becomes large.

    Abstract: A fluid pressure-type actuator is stably operable for a longer period of time than that of a conventional actuator. The actuator 1 is formed with a non-rubber bag body 5 covered with a covering body 2 that is expandable and contractable. The bag body 5 is constructed so that both a longitudinal dimension and an outer diameter thereof when inflated to the maximum extent are larger than an inner longitudinal dimension and inner diameter of the covering body 2 when the covering body 2 is expanded to the maximum extent. The covering body 2 is constructed so as to have a constricting force against a pressing force caused by inflating the bag body 5 when the covering body 2 is expanded to the maximum extent. If fluid is supplied to the actuator 1, because the bag body 5 is restrained with the covering body 2 before inflated to the maximum extent, an explosion of the bag body 5 is prevented.

It is considered that in an electronic component packaging container having such a constitution, static electricity electrified on an electronic component is gradually discharged from the electronic component to the surface of the electronic component packaging container without sudden discharge, thus preventing the static electricity impairment. The surface layer preferably comprises a material close to the electronic component in the series of frictional electrification.

    Abstract: A technique capable of preventing breakage of a semiconductor wafer in a single-wafer RTP apparatus is provided. Open-loop control is made in a temperature rising process, in which the temperature of the semiconductor wafer is 500° C. or lower, and a revolution speed of the semiconductor wafer is relatively reduced to 100 rpm or lower even if the bowing of the semiconductor wafer occurs. Therefore, a centrifugal force exerted on the semiconductor wafer is reduced, whereby it becomes possible to prevent the semiconductor wafer from dropping from a stage of the single-wafer RTP apparatus. Additionally, closed-loop control is made in the temperature rising process, in which the temperature of the semiconductor wafer is higher than 500° C., and in a main treatment process, and further the revolution speed of the semiconductor wafer is relatively increased. By so doing, the almost uniform in-plane temperature of the semiconductor wafer can be achieved and the bowing of the semiconductor wafer can be prevented.

    Abstract: A surface protective film includes a substrate film having formed on one surface a coating film selected from (1) a coating film of a nonionic surfactant having a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of 13 or more, (2) a coating film of a surfactant including an ammonium salt of a fluorine based phosphoric acid ester, (3) a coating film of dimethyl silicone oil, and (4) a coating film of a mixture of a water-soluble urethane resin and dimethyl silicone. The protective film is excellent in antistaining property and ink adhesiveness. The substrate film preferably includes a thermoplastic resin. The pressure-sensitive adhesive may be acrylic, urethane based, rubber based, or silicone based. Adhesives having high transparency are preferable, and acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives are preferable for their adhesive characteristics. The antistaining property and ink adhesiveness make it suitable for surface protection of polarizing plates, liquid crystal displays, plasma displays, etc.
