  • Patent number: 5352925
Abstract: A single or a plurality of semiconductor chips or thin film elements which are bare or passivated to a minimum extent are housed in an enclosure member formed by drawing into the shape of a tray from a laminate consisting of an insulation layer and a first and second conductive layers formed on opposite sides, respectively, of the insulation layer. The enclosure member has a concavity having a substantially flat bottom and circumferential edge. There are provided on the inner surface of the concavity as extended to the circumferential edge, wiring conductors which are destined for connecting the terminal electrodes of the semiconductor chip or the like to the terminal electrodes corresponding to electronic parts on a circuit board, while the outer surface of the concavity is held at the ground potential to form an electromagnetic shield. The semiconductor chip or the like is connected to one end of the wiring conductor by the wire bonding process and resin-molded in the concavity.

  • Patent number: 5245300
Abstract: An intermediate frequency filter for an intermediate frequency used in the receiver section of a digital radio communications apparatus is composed of an amplitude-flat ceramic filter incorporating two ceramic resonators, a buffer means and a single tuning circuit having the center frequency thereof within the bandwidth of the amplitude-flat ceramic filter, all being connected in series with each other. The center frequency of the single tuning circuit and Q are adjusted to approximate the amplitude characteristic of the intermediate frequency filter to that of TBT filter (0.4.ltoreq.parameter m.ltoreq.1.0).

  • Patent number: 5233318
Abstract: A CM type directional coupler comprises a body having a dielectric layer, an annular magnet buried in the dielectric layer, a pair of transmission lines juxtaposed with a predetermined spacing between them in a magnetic area enclosed by the magnetic ring in the dielectric layer, and lead terminals extending from opposite ends of each of the transmission lines to outside of the dielectric layer, and all these elements are formed integrally with each other to provide a single device. Therefore, a large coupling factor and directivity are ensured, and the coupler can be designed very compact. This directional coupler can be manufactured with a highly improved yield and mass-producibility, so it is very suitably usable as a power detector in a portable telephone.

  • Patent number: 4898095
Abstract: A laser beam-detonatable blasting cap containing secondary explosives charged therein in the upper and lower portions, wherein the explosive charged in the upper portion contains a laser beam-absorbing black material and is contacted with an optical fiber at the top. The loading density of the explosive charged in the lower portion is higher than that of the explosive charged in the higher portion, and only the side of the explosive charged in the upper portion is surrounded with a restraining wall. The blasting cap can be easily and surely detonated by a laser beam having a low peak output power generated by means of a pulse-oscillation system without using Q-switching or a continous oscillation system.
