Abstract: In the method for displaying a web page, a web page received from a server and comprising a frameset is displayed in the browser window of a terminal in such a manner that the frameset is converted into a different format. In the method, the frameset is converted into a table (T), in which case each frame (F1, F2) is converted into a corresponding cell (TD1, TD2) of the table (T). The formed table (T) is then displayed in said browser window (D2). The invention also relates to a conversion method, as well as to a converting unit and a computer software for implementing this conversion method. In addition, the invention relates to a system, as well as to a terminal (MS).

Abstract: A method for adapting information content of an electronic document onto the electronic device display, the design of the information content of the document being arranged for presentation on a larger display. The electronic document is downloaded into the memory and the network address of the document is compared with the network address of a preceding document. If the domain address of the downloaded document differs from the domain address of the preceding document, the downloaded document is shown miniaturized on the display of the device. If the domain addresses are the same, the information content of said document is compared with the information content of any one document defined as the reference document. If there is a change in the information content that exceeds the predetermined limit value, the downloaded electronic document is presented on the display such that the change will be updated on the display.

Abstract: A method for fitting information content comprised by an electronic document onto the display of an electronic device, formatting of the information content of the electronic document being originally adapted to be shown on a display larger than that of the electronic device. The electronic document is loaded to the memory of the electronic device, and the information content of the document is compared with the information content of another electronic document defined as a reference document. If the information content of the loaded electronic document differs from the information content of the reference document more than a predetermined limit value, the loaded electronic document is shown on the display of the electronic device in such a way that the first part to have information content that differs from the reference document more than the limit value is updated on the display.

Abstract: A method for displaying information in a device (1), which information is stored as a document with interpreting instructions for displaying the information. The interpreting instructions are interpreted, and on the basis of the interpretation, the information is converted to information to be displayed on the display of the device. In connection with the conversion of the document, it is examined if the document can be displayed without optimization on the display (2) of the device, wherein if, on the basis of the examination, it is detected that the displaying of the document requires optimization, the document is optimized; in other cases, the document is displayed in unoptimized format. The invention also relates to a system and a device (1) applying the method.
