    Abstract: The present invention relates to a single wire steel cord for reinforcing rubber of a pneumatic tire having improved strength and adhesion to rubber and, more particularly, to a single wire steel cord which includes waveform regions having at least one waveform and non-waveform regions. The single wire steel cord has a high strength characteristic. Accordingly, the amount of steel cord is significantly reduced during manufacturing of a tire. As a result, the weight of the tire is reduced and manufacturing cost is lowered due to a simplified manufacturing process.

The automatic self-test time and the automatic self-test items of the present invention are both relatively flexible, and the automatic self-test can be performed more effectively, the unnecessary consumption of the electricity and the unnecessary wear-and-tear of the instrument caused by unnecessary automatic self-test can be avoided, and the deficiency of failing to discover problems due to far apart automatic self-tests can be avoided as well.

Accordingly, a reactor of the remote plasma generator is cleaned by the first cleaning gas plasma. Subsequently, the purging gas is supplied to purge the process chamber, and the remote plasma generator produces plasma using a second cleaning gas to remove the first cleaning gas plasma from the remote plasma generator and the process chamber. Finally, full flush operations are performed to remove any gases remaining in the process chamber.
