    Abstract: A cyclone is used to collect nanoparticles and is formed of a chamber, and a guide wing located in the chamber such that the guide wing and the chamber form a passage. A flow entraining the nanoparticles is moved through the passage in such a way that the flow is caused to spin rapidly, and that the nanoparticles, acted on by a centrifugal force, are thereby resulting in collision with the chamber wall. The cyclone has a nanoparticle cut-off aerodynamic diameter, which is reduced by virtue of the phenomena that the particle inertia increases in a low pressure environment, and that the particle slipping correction factor increases under low pressure, and that the rebound of the particle in the cyclone chamber tends to alleviate under low pressure. The cyclone is used to remove nanoparticles from industrial exhaust fumes.

    Abstract: A programmable Gamma circuit and display apparatus therewith are provided, wherein the programmable Gamma circuit includes a controller and a plurality of gamma units. The controller receives a control signal externally, and outputs a plurality of Gamma setup signals. Each of the gamma setup signals is comprised of a plurality of bit signals in digital form. The control signal can be transmitted via I2C or 3-wire interface bus according to one preferred embodiment in this present invention, so as to reduce number of pins to the driving circuit (IC).     Abstract: An assembly for carrying cargo which comprises a cylindrical tank rotatable about a horizontal axis and having a torque partition member dividing it into an upper and a lower compartment, rotating rails provided around the periphery of the tank, support rails for guiding and supporting the rotating rails, and means for locking the tank against movement. The compartments of the tank are connected to cargo pipes and gas pipes through a connecting means associated with each tank. A liquid cargo can be loaded in the upper compartment simultaneously with the unloading of the liquid cargo from the lower compartment and the loaded upper compartment can be placed in a lower level position by the rotation of the tank caused by a torque produced by the partition member during loading and unloading.
