  • Publication number: 20100014199
Abstract: Embodiments of an interface circuit are described. This interface circuit includes an input pad, a control node and a transistor, which has three terminals. A first terminal is electrically coupled to the input pad and a second terminal is electrically coupled to the control node. Moreover, the interface circuit includes a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) switch, which is electrically coupled to the input pad and the control node, where the MEMS switch is in parallel with the transistor. In the absence of a voltage applied to a control terminal of the MEMS switch, the MEMS switch is closed, thereby electrically coupling the input pad and the control node. Furthermore, when the voltage is applied to the control terminal of the MEMS switch, the MEMS switch is open, thereby electrically decoupling the input pad and the control node.

  • Publication number: 20090312979
Abstract: An adaptive real-time analysis method for dynamic signals generated by rotary machines improves Vold-Kalman filtering order tracing technology to renew the algorithm logic so that on-line computation ability is achieved. Through signal simulation and practical engineering application to verify the availability, it shows that the output results are extremely accurate. As such, this method is advantaged to estimate the time-domain waveform of specific order signals for the operation of the rotary machines and to interpret the related physical phenomena. Moreover, this method can be applied for a digital signal processor (DSP) to obtain real-time and on-line computation of the order signals needed to be traced and to display the tracing time-domain waveform instantly.

  • Patent number: 7621624
Abstract: A highly-efficient ultrasonic wave ink-jet head includes a piezoelectric transducer and a Fresnel lens provided on a supporting layer. A chamber structure is fabricated on the supporting layer by lithography etching, and further bonded with an ink-storing groove to form an ink-jet head. The design provides a total reflection of ultrasonic waves generated on the opposite side of the piezoelectric transducer through the deviation of acoustic impedance of ultrasonic waves at different media. The sound energy of the ultrasonic wave can be effectively reused. Moreover, the phase of the reflected ultrasonic wave is consistent with that of the direct ultrasonic wave generated by the piezoelectric transducer. This forms a highly-efficient ultrasonic wave ink-jet head.

  • Publication number: 20080139766
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a perfluoroalkyleneoxy group-substituted phenylethylsilane compound and a polymer thereof. The perfluoroalkyleneoxy group-substituted phenylethylsilane compound represented by Formula 1 has excellent thermal and chemical stability to be solution-processed in a monomer state, and the polymer prepared by thermally crosslinking the compound has a high resistance to organic solvents. Moreover, since an insulating layer prepared by applying the same shows improved thermal and physical properties, it is possible to manufacture organic thin-film transistors having a high on/off ratio in a simple process such as a photolithography for a large-size substrate: wherein R1, R2, R3, Z1, Z2, Z3, and n are the same as defined in the detailed description of the invention.
