  • Patent number: 11372481
Abstract: A dielectric actuator including an enclosure forming a cavity having a dielectric fluid therein, the enclosure having a base, a flexible membrane and a reversibly-stretchable membrane, and a pair of electrodes, one electrode of the pair of electrodes arranged at the flexible membrane, the other electrode arranged at the base, the pair of electrodes arranged to generate an electric field to an area of the cavity that is filled with the dielectric fluid, wherein when the electric field is generated between the pair of electrodes, an electrostatic pressure in the dielectric fluid causes the flexible membrane to move towards the base, reducing an initial volume of the area of the cavity, increases a pressure of the dielectric fluid inside the cavity, and causes the reversibly-stretchable membrane to bump out to an expanded state.

  • Publication number: 20210227216
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method performs a first calculation to select an anchor point based on a first reference block in a first reference frame and a second reference block in a second reference frame. The first reference frame is selected as the anchor point. A third reference block in the second reference frame is selected based on the first reference frame being selected as the anchor point. The method performs a second calculation to select the anchor point based on the first reference block in the first reference frame and the third reference block in the second reference frame and determines whether to use the first reference block and the third reference block as a prediction for a current block based on the second calculation.

  • Patent number: 11066474
Abstract: The present invention provides antibodies that bind specifically to TrkB and methods of using the same. According to certain embodiments, the antibodies of the invention are agonist antibodies that are neuroprotective, as shown by their effect on enhancing the survival of retinal ganglion cells in vitro. As such, these agonist antibodies may be used to treat diseases or disorders of the eye, such as, but not limited to glaucoma. In addition, other neuronal diseases or disorders may benefit from treatment with these agonist antibodies, including any disease or disorder characterized in part by neuronal damage. In certain embodiments, the invention includes antibodies that bind TrkB and mediate cell signaling. The antibodies of the invention may be fully human, non-naturally occurring antibodies.

  • Publication number: 20210168191
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for resource mapping during URL changes in multi-tenant distributed computing systems. The distributed computing system may resolve a URL by using a tenant and/or site name extracted from the URL to retrieve an entry in a site map table. The entry includes an address to a database that contains the requested content. After a tenant or site name has been changed, or if the tenant or site have been moved, the distributed computing system will resolve pre-existing URLs to the old entry, resulting in a file not found error. In some embodiments, during an operation that changes a tenant or site name, a redirect URL containing the new tenant and/or site name is added to the old entry. When a request addressed to a URL containing the old tenant and/or site names is received, the distributed system sends a redirect response that includes the redirect URL.

  • Patent number: 10992930
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method selects a first reference block in a first reference frame and a second reference block in a second reference frame. The first reference block and the second reference block are used to predict a current block. The first reference block is selected as an anchor point. Then, the method searches in the second reference frame for a third reference block and determines whether the third reference block is a better reference block than the second reference block for predicting the current block.

  • Patent number: 10895974
Abstract: In one example, a system for topic image flows can include a processing resource and a non-transitory computer readable medium having stored thereon instructions to cause the processing resource to generate an image flow of a plurality of topic headers when a user scroll speed of a document including text exceeds a threshold scroll speed, receive a selection of a topic header from the plurality of topic headers, and display, on a user interface, a portion of the document that corresponds to the selected topic header from the plurality of topic headers.

  • Patent number: 10869042
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method selects a first reference block in a first reference frame and a second reference block in a second reference frame. The first reference block and the second reference block are used to predict a current block in a current frame. A first region is selected based on the first reference block, a second region is selected based the second reference block, and a third region is selected based on the current block. The method compares a characteristic of the first region to a characteristic of the third region and compares a characteristic of the second region to the characteristic of the third region to adaptively determine a first weight for the first reference block and a second weight for the second reference block. Then, a prediction block is calculated for the current block using the first weight and the second weight.

  • Patent number: 10785479
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method determines if a first flag for using a most probable mode (MPM) set for intra prediction is set. When the first flag indicates the MPM set is used, the method decodes a first index for the MPM, the first index indicating a first intra prediction mode in the MPM set. When the first flag does not indicate the MPM set is being used, the method determines if a second flag for using a near-MPM set is set. When the second flag indicates the near-MPM set is being used, the method decodes a second index for the near-MPM, the second index indicating a second intra prediction mode in the near-MPM set. When the second flag does not indicate the near-MPM is being used, the method decodes a third index for a non-MPM, the third index indicating a third intra prediction mode in the non-MPM set.
