Abstract: A backlight module is employed to provide a light source for LCD panel. The backlight module has a wedge-shaped distributor, three light pipes and two reflective arcs. The distributor is modified from rectangular-shaped to wedge-shaped so as to reduce its weight. Three light pipes are divided into two groups. One group having only one light pipe is positioned at first edge of the wedge-shaped distributor while the other group having two pipes is positioned at an edge opposite the first edge. The two groups of light pipes are rounded up respectively by two reflective arcs.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a security system for a software. The security system for a software includes an IC card interface electrically connected to the input/output interface of the computer, and an IC card storing therein a computer authentication signal of the software for reading a user authentication signal sent by the software via the IC card interface, checking if the user authentication signal is consistent with the computer authentication signal, and sending a confirmation signal to initiate the software when the user authentication signal is consistent with the computer authentication signal.

Abstract: A starter for starting a computer system is provided. The starter includes: an IC card interface for generating an enable signal when an IC card is inserted; a register set for storing a command provided to the IC card and a computer secure check signal and detecting whether a user secure check signal matches the computer secure check signal or not; a state machine for reading the user secure check signal from the IC card interface to proceed a secure check process, generating a verification signal when the user secure check signal matches the computer secure check signal, and generating a reset signal to reset the IC card and proceed the computer secure check process again when the user secure check signal matches the computer secure check signal; and a power control circuit for generating a Power On signal to a power supply of the computer system in response to the check signal and starting the computer system.

Abstract: This invention is about a multi-functional exercise apparatus, whose main structure is comprised of one internal bar, two pulling components, two rollers and two handlebars. Pairs of spring buttons are positioned at the center and two ends of the internal bar, which helps to connect the internal bar with pulling components and handlebars with simplicity. While two rollers are attached to the internal bar, they are sandwiched by the pulling components and the handlebar. In addition, the extension of the bar sleeve of the pulling component includes an elastic rope that has foot strap at the other end and is used to secure feet to the apparatus. It is important to point out that the rollers can be removed at will, and the positions of the handlebar and the pulling components can be exchanged with each other to some extent for maximum benefit. Besides, the internal bar can be attached with a clamp for securing onto the door panel.

Abstract: This invention is a shoe dehumidifier, which consists of an air-processing unit and an air-distribution unit. The two units are joined through a retractable air duct. A fan and a heating element are located on the top portion of the air-processing unit. Air is drawn into the air-processing unit by the fan, and is then warmed and dehumidified by the heating element. Through the air duct, heated air is guided into air-distribution unit and driven into the shoe. Air routing grooves outside the air-distribution unit then evenly guide heated air to different locations inside the shoe, achieving an overall drying effect. The design of the retractable air duct allows the unit to be folded making it easy to transport and store.
