    Abstract: A reinforcing structure of an electrical receptacle connector includes an insulation housing, a terminal group, and a reinforcing sheet. The insulation housing includes a substrate and a tongue portion extending to one side of the substrate. The tongue portion includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a front side surface between the top surface and the bottom surface. The terminal group is provided on the bottom surface, and includes a power supply terminal and a grounding terminal. A contact wall is formed between the power supply terminal and the front side surface, and the reinforcing sheet is provided on the top surface. The reinforcing sheet includes a front baffle and a recessed portion, the front baffle is fixed on the front side surface, and the recessed portion inwardly curves to be formed on the front baffle and corresponds to the contact wall.

    Abstract: A connector receptacle includes an insulating housing, a plurality of contacts, a protective plate, and a metallic shell. The insulating housing includes a base portion and a tongue portion extending from the base portion. The tongue portion defines a plurality of receiving slots through the base portion. The contacts are inserted into the receiving slots, and a power contact exists among the contacts. The protective plate includes a planner main portion and two connecting arm portions. The planar main portion is disposed on the tongue portion, and includes a planar section, a front section, a side section, and a connecting section. One lateral side of the planar section is a cutting notch exposing parts of the tongue portion which corresponds to the power contact. The cutting notch prevents the power contact and the protective plate from contacting while connecting with a plug, so as to secure the safety.

The base includes an inner side plane facing toward the through hole and an outer side plane facing toward an outside of the through hole. The tongue plate is extended from the inner side plane. The terminals are passing through the base. Each terminal includes a contacting end extended from the tongue plate and a welding end connected to the contacting end and extruded from the outer side plane. The waterproof ring gasket is abutted between the base and an inner wall of the through hole. The sealing material is formed on the outer side plane to fill gaps between the terminal and the base.

    Abstract: An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, conductive terminals, and a metallic shell. The insulated housing includes a base portion and recessed portions configured at two sides of the base portion. The conductive terminals are held at the base portion. The metallic shell includes a body shell, two stopping pieces, two holding portions, and an extending sheet. The body shell encloses the base portion and defines two engaging grooves. The stopping pieces are protruded out of lateral inner surfaces of the body shell to engage with the recessed portions. The holding portions allow connections of portions of the body shell spaced by the engaging groove and hold two sides of the circuit board from moving. Engaging pieces of the extending sheet are engaged with the circuit board to prevent the circuit board from being detached from the insulated housing to prevent charging or data transmission failure.

A plurality of terminal slots and notches is only defined through the bottom wall, keeping other walls of the housing from forming any opening against the entry of the moisture and dust. The mating head is mounted on the body opposite to the rear wall. The insertion hole is defined through the mating head, extends into the body and communicates each terminal slot. Each notch is parallel to one another and communicates a corresponding terminal slot. Each conductive terminal has a base portion, a mounting portion, a connection portion, a contacting portion and a resilient portion.
