  • Publication number: 20080254676
Abstract: A coaxial connector has a hollow shell, an insulative housing, a contact terminal and a stopper. The hollow shell has at least one engaging hole. The insulative housing is mounted in the hollow shell and has at least one hook protruding through the engaging hole to securely connect the insulative housing to the hollow shell. The contact terminal is mounted in the insulative housing and has a body portion and a soldering portion extending out of the insulative housing. The stopper is mounted on the body portion and engaged with the insulative housing to avoid a disconnection between the contact terminal and the insulative housing.

  • Patent number: 7399126
Abstract: An optical fiber socket includes a hollow insulative housing, two openings in a bottom face of the insulative housing for receiving two optical fiber plugs and two illuminating elements accommodated inside the insulative housing for connection with the optical fiber plugs. The insulative housing has a first baffle and a second baffle to divide the insulative housing into a first receiving space for receiving therein one illuminating element, a second receiving space for receiving therein the other illuminating element. Terminals are provided to engage with the illuminating element in the first receiving space and have elongated ends extending out of the insulative housing thereof such that two optical fiber plugs in connection to the insulative housing are able to complete information input/output.

  • Publication number: 20070287330
Abstract: An audio jack including an insulative housing, conductive terminals and a shielding shell is provided. Stripped protrusions are disposed on the two side surfaces of the insulative housing. Trenches are disposed on the two side surfaces of the insulative housing. A notch is formed on each side surface of the shielding shell, and a depressed protrusion is disposed on each side surface of the shielding shell. At least two pins are disposed on each side surface, and between the pins a U-shaped hook is formed by bending inward. A back wing is coplanar with the top surface of the shielding shell and is bent along the top surface to form a back cover. A pair of opposite side ears perpendicular to the back wing joint the depressed protrusions.

  • Publication number: 20070281550
Abstract: An audio jack for a mobile communications device electrically connected with a first female connector of a charger and a second female connector of a headset thereby is provided. The audio jack includes an insulative housing, a recharging/signal transmitting unit, a first conductive terminal, and an audio terminal, wherein the recharging/signal transmitting unit includes a second conductive terminal and a central terminal. The insulative housing for accommodating all the terminals is formed with a first opening and a second opening communicated therewith for the central terminal. The recharging/signal transmitting unit and the first conductive terminal form means for recharging the charger when the first female connector of the charger is inserted into the first opening; while the recharging/transmitting unit and the audio terminal form means for transmitting audio signals for the headset when the second female connector of the headset is inserted into the first opening.
