Abstract: Methods and systems provide for extracting filler words and phrases from a communication session. In one embodiment, the system receives a transcript of a conversation involving one or more participants produced during a communication session; extracts, from the transcript, utterances including one or more sentences spoken by the participants; identifies a subset of the utterances spoken by a subset of the participants associated with a prespecified organization; extracts filler phrases within the subset of utterances, the filler phrases each comprising one or more words representing disfluencies within a sentence, where extracting the filler phrases includes applying filler detection rules; and presents, for display at one or more client devices, data corresponding to the extracted filler phrases.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for switching a length of a Bidirectional Forwarding Detection (BFD) packet, and a storage medium. The method includes: in a case where a length of a current BFD packet needs to be switched to a preset length, sending a pre-switching packet independent of the current BFD packet to a second node, wherein a BFD session running in an asynchronous mode is established between a first node and the second node, and the pre-switching packet is used for notifying the second node that the length of the current BFD packet needs to be switched to the preset length; and in a case where an echo packet fed back by the second node in response to the pre-switching packet is received, performing an operation of switching the length of the current BFD packet.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the system connects to a communication session with a number of participants; receives a transcript of a conversation between the participants; extracts utterances from the transcript; associates a subset of the utterances with a first group of speakers and the remaining subset of the utterances with a second group of speakers; calculates one or more statistical metrics for a number of engagement metrics based on the utterances of the first group of speakers and the utterances of the second group of speakers; assigns a weight to each of the engagement metrics; determines an engagement score for the communication session based on the assigned weights for the engagement metrics; and presents, to one or more users, the engagement score for the communication session.

Abstract: Voicemail spam detection is performed based on content of voicemail messages. The content of an incoming voicemail message is compared to a spam template that includes a representation of a spam voicemail. Spam templates may be generated based on spam indications provided by users for voicemail messages they have received. User indications for sufficiently similar voicemail messages may be aggregated by maintaining a vote count for a spam template that reflects how many times a user has indicated a matching voicemail message is spam. A spam template may also include an occurrence count that reflects how many times voicemail messages matching a spam template have been detected in a telephony system. An incoming voicemail message may be compared to spam templates and, responsive to a match of content and/or a corresponding vote count or occurrence count meeting a condition, the voicemail message may be identified as spam.

The memory device includes instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the processor to receive a plurality of user features associated with a user, receive a plurality of event features, each of said event features associated with one or more events, and determine a predicted favorite score personalized for each user for each of the one or more events, the predicted favorite score based at least in part on the plurality of user features and the plurality of event features. The memory device also includes instructions that cause the processor to display at least one of the one or more events to the user based at least in part on the personalized predicted favorite score associated with each of the one or more events.

Abstract: Analyzing expression of protein-coding variants in cells is provided herein. A method may include replacing a protein coding-region of the DNA in a cell with a donor vector including a variant of the protein-coding region and a first barcode identifying that variant. The cell may generate mRNA including an expression of the variant and an expression of the first barcode. A second barcode corresponding to the cell may be coupled to the mRNA. The mRNA. having the second barcode coupled thereto, may be reverse transcribed into complementary cDNA. The cDNA may be sequenced. The donor vector or cDNA may be sequenced using amplicon sequencing. The donor vector sequence and the cDNA sequence may be correlated to identify the variant and the cell's expression of the variant.

Abstract: A transcript of a conference (e.g., a video conference, an audio conference, or a telephone call with two or more participants) is processed to extract a conference summary. The transcript includes strings that are associated with respective timestamps and respective speaker identifiers. Speaker segments—sequences of consecutive strings attributed to the same speaker—are identified in the transcript. A speaker segment is selected based on its duration in time and one or more strings are selected from with the selected speaker segment for inclusion in the conference summary. A short video conference summary or a short audio conference summary is then generated using timestamps from the transcript associated with strings (e.g., sentences) that have been selected for inclusion in the conference summary. The short video or audio summary may be presented to users to enable efficient storage and transmission of information from the conference within a unified communications system.

Abstract: A method for predicting changes in customer demand is provided. The method comprises collecting subscription data for a number of customers at specified time intervals, wherein each customer is subscribed to one of a number of defined bundles of services. Any changes in customer bundle subscriptions during a given time interval are determined along with metrics for defined customer tasks for subscribed services during the given time interval. Multimodal multi-task learning is used to simultaneously model both bundle subscription change events and time-to-event for each bundle subscription change. Using the modeling, types and timing of changes in customer bundle subscriptions are predicted based on customer service activities.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for dynamic conversation alerts within a communication session. In one embodiment, the system presents, to a client device associated with a user of a communication platform, a user interface (“UP”) including a prompt for the user to submit one or more alert phrases, each alert phrase being associated with a category; receives, from the client device, a list of submitted alert phrases; and receives a transcript of a communication session between participants. For each utterance in the transcript, the system determines whether one or more predictions of relatedness are present between the utterance and one or more alert phrases from the list of submitted alert phrases. The system then transmits, to the client device, a list of related categories, each related category including one or more timestamps of utterances for which a prediction of relatedness is present for an alert phrase associated with that category.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to generating a complex entity index based on a combination of atomic and deep learned attributes associated with instances of a complex entity. For example, systems described herein generate a multi-dimensional representation of entity instances based on evaluation of digital content associated with the respective entity instances. Systems described herein further generate an index representation in which similarity of entity instances are illustrated and presented via an interactive presentation that enables a user to traverse instances of an entity to observe similarities and differences between instances of an entity that have similar embeddings to one another within a multi-dimensional index space.

The data processing method includes: receiving a multicast packet requiring Service Function Chaining (SFC) processing; encapsulating the multicast packet to obtain a target packet after encapsulation, wherein the target packet comprises an SFC path indication and an egress device-based Bit Indexed Explicit Replication (BIER) header; and sending the target packet to at least one Service Function Forwarder (SFF) according to the SFC path indication, wherein a last-hop SFF is used for sending the multicast packet to at least one egress device according to the egress device-based BIER header, so that the target packet reaches the egress device.

Abstract: A tunnel BFD session establishment method and device are provided. The tunnel BFD session establishment method includes: acquiring first content information, generating a first tunnel bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD) session establishment packet according to the first content information, and sending the first tunnel BFD session establishment packet to a second edge node; receiving a second tunnel BFD session establishment packet sent by the second edge node; and establishing a tunnel BFD session between the first edge node and the second edge node when the BFD status of the first edge node and the BFD status of the second edge node are a preset status. Therefore, the solution can solve a series of problems in the related art caused by that a tunnel BFD session can only be established by means of manual configuration, so as to achieve the effect of automatically establishing the tunnel BFD session.
