  • Publication number: 20070131031
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless inertial input device of low power consumption. The wireless inertial input device uses an inertial sensing cell, being arranged therein, to generate a sensing signal to be received and processed by a processor for enabling the processor to generate a response signal to be applied by an electric device, whereas the inertial sensing cell is communicating with the processor wirelessly as the processor is not physically connected to the inertial sensing cell and is electrically connected to the electric device. By separating the high power consuming processor from the wireless inertial input device as the sensing signal generated by the inertial sensing cell arranged inside the wireless inertial input device is transmitted wirelessly to the processor to be processed, the power consumption of the wireless inertial input device is reduced and thus the duration of batteries used thereby can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20060021734
Abstract: A heat sink and heat spreader bonding structure includes a metal heat sink, a metal heat spreader, and an eutectic structure formed between the heat sink and the heat spreader by heating the heat sink and the heat spreader to a specific temperature of the eutectic temperature of the heat sink and the heat spreader but below the respective melting point of the heat sink and the heat spreader to cause the internal metal atoms of the heat sink and heat spreader to be rearranged. This bonding structure maintains the heat transfer efficiency of the bonding layer between the heat sink and the heat spreader, eliminates formation of crevice, heat resistance, and oxidation in the bonding layer.

  • Patent number: 6272866
Abstract: A micro cooling engine array system is fabricated by micro electro mechanical system technology for cooling heat sources. The micro cooling engine array system includes a matrix, which is laminated by several layers of metal or polymer. A plurality of cooling engines are arrayed in the matrix for pumping heat out of heat sources. Each cooling engine of the array system has an expansion space, regenerator, and compression space. Pairs of plane coil and magnetic region actuate two flexible diaphragms to expand the expansion space and compress the compression space. The heat of heat sources can thus be pumped out by the array system repeatedly changing the volumes of the expansion and compression spaces.
