  • Publication number: 20160257407
Abstract: Provided are larders systems, aircraft equipped with such systems, and methods of operating such systems. A larder system includes at least two larder cases removably disposed in the same compartment of a larder enclosure. The two cases are detachably interlocked with each other such that removal of the outer case from the enclosure advances the inner case closer to the opening. After the removal of the outer case, the inner case may be retained at the opening. The two cases may be interlocked when pushed against each other, such as when the outer case is inserted into the compartment containing the inner case. In some embodiments, a larder case may be interlocked with the larder enclosure or one of its components, such as a door. This enclosure interlocking allows for the larder case to retain its interlocked position when, for example, the enclosure is only partially filed.

  • Patent number: 8559255
Abstract: A system and methodology that can minimize disturbance during an AC operation associated with a memory, such as, program, read and/or erase, is provided. The system pre-charges all or a desired subset of the bit lines in a memory array to a specified voltage, during an AC operation to facilitate reducing AC disturbances between neighboring cells. A pre-charge voltage can be applied to all bit lines in a block in the memory array, or to bit lines associated with a selected memory cell and neighbor memory cells adjacent to the selected memory cell in the block. The system ensures that source and drain voltage levels can be set to desired levels at the same or substantially the same time, while selecting a memory cell. This can facilitate minimizing AC disturbances in the selected memory cell during the AC operation.

  • Patent number: 7732974
Abstract: Electrostatic power generator cell architectures having high generator output and a method of manufacture. In one embodiment, parasitic capacitances are reduced by reducing overlap between walls of the chamber and electrodes of the generator cell. In another embodiment, generator component materials are selected to reduce triboelectric effects to improve the coupling of kinetic energy to electrical output, thereby increasing generator output. In a further embodiment, the high permittivity material is selected to increase the modulation of the variable capacitors in the power generator to increase generator output. In still another embodiment, the physical dimensions of the generator cell components are reduced to increase power density. In an additional embodiment, a physical dimension of the generator chamber is based on the dominant motion the generator will be exposed to in a particular application.
