  • Publication number: 20160009824
Abstract: The present invention relates to tetravalent bispecific antibodies (TetBiAbs), methods of making and methods of using the same for diagnostics and for the treatment of cancer or immune disorders. TetBiAbs feature a second pair of Fab fragments with a second antigen specificity attached to the C-terminus of an antibody, thus providing a molecule that is bivalent for each of the two antigen specificities. The tetravalent antibody is produced by genetic engineering methods, by linking an antibody heavy chain covalently to a Fab light chain, which associates with its cognate, co-expressed Fab heavy chain.

  • Patent number: 9006953
Abstract: A stator assembly structure for an axial flux electric machine is designed. The back iron for each silicon steel disk stator is formed into a specific structure with tooth-like protrusions for allowing the same to be integrated with the disk-type stator seat, while the disk-type stator seat is made of a material suitable for casting or mold forming. A coil is mounted on the disk stator, and a stator assembly is achieved by integrating the stator, the coil and the stator seat. The stator and the disk-type stator seat of the stator assembly are manufactured by using a one-piece cast or one-piece mold forming method so as to enable the contact surfaces of the stator and the stator seat to engage with each other even more tightly, and consequently enable the heat generated from the coil to be transmitted rapidly from the disk stator to the disk-type stator seat.

  • Publication number: 20150098686
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a cloud-based video monitoring system comprising a camera and a network video recorder (NVR). During operation, the camera stores in a buffer last predetermined temporal segment of a video. The camera also stores a first video file in a local storage corresponding to an event detected by the camera. This first video file is non-overlapping with a second video file corresponding to the event and this second video file is stored in the NVR. The camera generates a third video file by pre-pending last predetermined temporal segment of a video prior to the event to the first video file and sends the third video file to the NVR.

Abstract: A monitoring camera and an operation method thereof are provided. The monitoring camera includes a light sensor, a voltage comparing unit and a reference voltage generating unit. The light sensor senses an environment brightness of the monitoring camera and generates an induced current accordingly. The voltage comparing unit generates a sensing voltage according to the induced current and compares the sensing voltage and a reference voltage to obtain a first comparison result, so that the monitoring camera can determine whether to perform at least one of a plurality of mode switching operations according to the first comparison result. The reference voltage generating unit outputs the first reference voltage and determines whether to reduce the first reference voltage according to the first comparison result.
