Abstract: A blind lifting control mechanism for use in a blind and adapted to control the elevation of the blind body is constructed to include two bobbins pivotally mounted inside a headrail of the blind, a transmission mechanism mounted inside the headrail of the blind and coupled to the bobbins, and a control rod vertically suspended at a side of a window and coupled to the transmission mechanism for rotating by the user to drive the transmission mechanism to rotate the bobbins to roll up/let off the lift cords of the blind body and to further lift/lower the blind body.

Abstract: A fabric blind assembly is composed of a headrail, a bottom rail suspended below the headrail, a plurality of fabric blind slats arranged in parallel between the headrail and the bottom rail, each fabric blind slat having two opposite long sides and two rigid rod members respectively mounted in the long sides, each rod member having a plurality of coupling portions, and a plurality of braided ladders connected between the headrail and the bottom rail at two sides of the fabric blind slats, each braided ladder having a plurality of retaining members spaced apart from one another at a predetermined distance and respectively fastened to the coupling portions of the rod members to keep the fabric blind slats positioned between the headrail and the bottom rail and spaced apart from one another at the predetermined distance.

Abstract: A fabric blind assembly is constructed to include a receiving member, a bottom rail suspended below the receiving member, fabric blind slats arranged in parallel between the receiving member and the bottom rail, two braided ladders connected between the receiving member and the bottom rail at one side and coupled to one long side of each fabric blind slat to hold the fabric blind slats in parallel between the receiving member and the bottom rail, a connecting device connected between the receiving member and the bottom rail at one side opposite to the braided ladders and fastened to the other long side of each fabric blind slat, and a curtain detachably connected between the receiving member and the bottom rail outside the fabric blind slats.

Abstract: A wooden shutter installed on the wall around a window is disclosed to include an outer frame having a receiving open space and top and mounting portions at top and bottom ends of one side thereof, louvers arranged in parallel in the receiving open space within the outer frame, a first coupling unit and a second coupling unit fixedly fastened to the wall around the window respectively. The first coupling unit has a fixed pivot pivoted to the bottom mounting portion of said outer frame. The second coupling unit has a movable pivot member detachably inserted through a through hole thereof for detachably pivoting to the top mounting portion of the outer frame for enabling the outer frame to be turned about the fixed pivot member and the movable pivot member in and out of the window.

Abstract: A shutter simulation Venetian blind is constructed to include a fixed headrail shield by a top block at the top side of the window, two side blocks longitudinally located on two sides of the window, a bottom rail suspended below the headrail, a set of slats arranged in parallel between the headrail and the bottom rail, two ladder tapes, a tilting control mechanism, and a lift lock adapted to lock the bottom rail at a desired elevation. Each side block has a front shielding wall. The ladder tapes are connected in parallel at two sides between the headrail and the bottom rail and respectively linked to the ends of the slats behind the front shielding walls of the side blocks. The tilting control mechanism is formed of an operating rod and a tilt rod for driving the ladder tapes to control the tilting angle of the slats.

The connecting member has vertically spaced pairs of wire loops respectively engaged into the cut holes of the sleeves of the vanes. The connecting rods respectively inserted into the wire loops of the connecting member and the sleeves of the vanes to secure the second end portions of the vanes to the connecting member at different elevations.

Two positioning cords are bilaterally vertically connected between the headrail and the bottom rail and extended through the two shading sections and inserted through the lifting rail. Two blind bodies are respectively provided in the two shading sections and relatively extended out/received upon vertical movement of the lifting rail between the headrail and the bottom rail.

Abstract: A blinds slat has a major portion being strips of bamboo and a minor portion being one or more pairs of wooden strips that are located at or near opposite side extremities of the slat. The resulting composite bamboo and wooden slat has exemplary resistance to warping and other deleterious effects of exposure to sun and moisture. Also disclosed is a method for producing the slats that is particularly advantageous in avoiding environmental harm, in that only small amounts of wood are used.

Abstract: A lift cord concealable Venetian blind lift is constructed to include a retractable tube formed of a plurality of tube bodies that slide one inside another and fastened to one end of each lift cord and moved between a received position and an extended position to control the elevation of the bottom rail. Each lift cord of the Venetian blind has one end fixedly fastened to the bottom rail, and the other end longitudinally extended through the headrail and then downwardly extended out of one end of the headrail into the inside of the retractable tube and coupled to the last tube body of the retractable tube for moving with the last tube body of the retractable tube to control the elevation of the bottom rail.
