Abstract: A Venetian blind comprises a blind assembly having a head rail, a bottom rail, a plurality of slats and a lift cord assembly for holding the slats in between the head rail and the bottom rail and driving the slats to move between a extended position and a collapsed position, and a plurality of shade fabrics. Each of the shade fabrics has a coupling portion and a shading portion having an end thereof coupled to the coupling portion. Wherein the coupling portions of the shade fabrics are coupled to the slats of the blind assembly respective and the shading portions of the shade fabrics are left at a side of the slats.

Abstract: A Venetian blind is constructed include a headrail, a bottom rail, a set of slats, at least one lift cord, each lift cord having a first end fixedly fastened to the bottom rail and a second end upwardly inserted through the slats into the inside of the headrail and extended transversely to one end of the headrail and then turned downwards to the outside of the headrail, and a sleeve suspended from the headrail and adapted for receiving the second end of each lift cord for enabling the second end of each lift cord to be selectively positioned in one of a series of vertical positions in the sleeve.

Abstract: A room temperature blind slats extruding method includes the steps of (a) cutting wooden material into wooden plates and then delivering the wooden plates to the extruding mold of an extruding machine after washed, (b) preparing a liquid coating mixture containing Methyl Cellulose, water, Calcium Carbonate, and glue, and then delivering the liquid coating mixture to the extruding mold of the extruding machine, (c) ejecting the liquid coating mixture through an extruding nozzle to the wooden plates, enabling the wooden plates to be respectively covered with a uniform layer of the liquid coating mixture, and (d) drying the coated wooden plates into finished blind slats.

The rail members are parallel to one another and are connected between the two upright posts.

Abstract: A vertical blind has two end pieces respectively attached to opposite ends of a track. The track is adapted to be mounted on a ceiling. The vertical blind includes multiple clamps partially slidably received in the track to clamp vertical slats. Each clamp includes a shoulder vertically formed and has at least one through hole defined in the shoulder parallel to the track. At least one rod extends perpendicular from the faceplate and aligns with the through hole in the shoulder on the clamp. The rod has an enlarged head formed on a free end and a groove diametrically defined in the enlarged head. The rod holds the nearest clamp in place after the enlarged head passes through the through hole. The end piece of the present invention is easily made and assembled to save time and cost of manufacturing.

Abstract: A method for making a wooden blind slat includes a first step of cutting a tree trunk of a length into a plurality of rectangular slices, which are properly smoothed by a dressing tool before they are randomly joined together by an adhesive to form a rectangular board. The rectangular board is sliced in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal surfaces of the rectangular slices into a plurality of wooden blind slats, which are smoothed again before being covered with a coat. The coated blind slats are finally dried by baking.

Abstract: A method is designed for making bamboo blind slats. The method comprises an initial step in which a selected bamboo stem is split into a plurality of bamboo strips, which are then skinned and disinfected with a sulfur fume for over 12 hours. The disinfected bamboo strips are dried by baking before they are provided with a layer of adhesive. The coated bamboo strips are joined together in conjunction with a pneumatic press to form a rectangular bamboo plate, which is subsequently sliced into a plurality of bamboo slats, with each having a width and a thickness. The bamboo slats are smoothed by grinding and are then covered with a base coating and a face coating which is applied on the base coating. The twice-coated bamboo slats are punched so as to enable them to accommodate the pull cords of a Venetian blind comprising the bamboo slats which are made by the method of the present invention.

The bamboo strips are barked, polished, and bleached before they are adhered side by side to form a base plate. A plurality of base plates are adhered in a stack to form a rectangular bamboo block having bamboo fibers which are arranged in an interlacing manner. The bamboo block is sliced into a plurality of bamboo slat, with each having bamboo fibers which are arranged in the interlacing manner.

Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting the orientation of slats of a vertical blind includes a master slide and a first carrier slide fixedly connected with the master slide and a plurality of other carrier slides. The master slide includes a housing, a driving member, a worm member and a helical gear engaging with the worm member. When the driving member rotates, the helical gear rotates accordingly. A shaft is extended to engage with the helical gear and driven mechanisms provided respectively in the carrier slides. Each driven mechanism is attached with a slat. When the helical gear is rotated, the slats attached with the driven mechanism rotate accordingly so that the orientation of the slats can be adjusted. Each of the carrier slides is slideably engaged with a strip which has an end defining a stop and another end fixedly attached with a carrier slide neighboring the carrier slide slideably engaging with a respective strip.

Abstract: A biologically resolvable blind slat and the manufacturing method therefor, wherein PVC powders serve as a basic material and are added with stabilizer, lubricant, calcium carbonate and surface-treated starch to mix therewith, the mixture being processed by a granulating machine into granules which are further heated and pressed by a press machine into strips, the strips being then cut into blind slats in a certain pattern and at a certain length.

Abstract: This invention relates to a Venetian blind controller and, more particularly to a Venetian blind controller directly attached to a Venetian blind for controlling the opening and closing of the Venetian blind and for controlling the angular position of the blades through wireless remote control operation or alternatively through manual operation during power failure without detaching the controller from the Venetian blind, of which the structure includes two magnetic clutch fitted DC motors, two guide wheels, two pressure wheels, one chain wheel, one pull rope wheel, one receiving circuit, and a remote controller.
