  • Patent number: 10268768
Abstract: A method of preparing application data for visitors of a website is performed at a computer server. The computer server receives a webpage request initiated by a client device, the webpage request including a first element from a first dataset and a second element from a second dataset. In response, the computer server generates two sets of combinations between the first and second elements and respective elements of the second and first datasets, respectively. The computer server queries a cache for application data associated with each combination of elements. For each combination that returns a cache miss, the computer server retrieves the associated application data from an application database and stores the application data in the cache. The computer generates a response using application data associated with the first and second elements and returns the response to the client device.

  • Patent number: 10228470
Abstract: A method for real-time processing of a pulse pile-up event comprises the following steps of: generating a fitted baseline value lookup table and a fitted energy value lookup table for a pulse falling edge, using a multi-voltage threshold sampling method to identify piled-up pulses and trigger a procedure of processing pulse signals; and using pulse priori information and acquired pulse information to acquire information of an incorrectly sampled portion due to a pulse pile-up by looking up in the tables, so as to recover information of the pile-up pulses in real time. First, in the disclosure the multi-voltage threshold sampling method is proposed to identify pile-up pulses at a high count rate and trigger a procedure of processing pulse signals. Next, pulse priori information and acquired pulse information are used to acquire information of an incorrectly sampled portion due to a pulse pile-up by looking up in the tables, to recover information of the piled-up pulses in real time.

  • Patent number: 7895220
Abstract: Middleware services link multiple data sources to multiple software applications. In one implementation, the middleware receives data requests from different applications, each request including a set of data descriptions that specify which type of data is sought from multiple real-time data sources. The middleware adapts the requests from different types of applications, and the different data available from different real-time data sources, for compatibility with a single common user interface. A user can select which real-time data to map to the common user interface, while each application may request data through a different set of data descriptions. Adapters convert data formats and communication protocols of real-time data from multiple data sources for compatibility with a given requesting application.
