  • Publication number: 20210348588
Abstract: A spark plug heat up method via transient control of the spark discharge current. The high temperature plasma channel is used to heat up the central electrode, and the temperature and energy of the plasma channel are realized via transient control of the discharge current. The heating up process takes place before firing the engine, using discharge current to actively heat up the spark plug from inside. By monitoring the discharge current amplitude and discharge duration, the temperature change of the central electrode and the ceramic insulator can be carefully measured and controlled within a proper window. This method can be used to measure the heating range of the spark plug, and to prevent or remove the carbon deposit on the central electrode and the ceramic insulator generated under various engine operation conditions, such as engine cold start, full load operation, and heavy EGR condition, as well as realize self-cleaning.

  • Publication number: 20210351574
Abstract: In the spark plug heat rating measurement method and system based on spark discharge current active heating, the spark plug is installed in a constant-temperature water jacket cooling chamber with a specific torque. A constant spark discharge current control module is connected to the high-voltage terminal of the spark plug, to provide real-time controlled discharge current to heat up the high-voltage central electrode of the spark plug. During the spark discharge process, the temperature change of the high-voltage central electrode and the surrounding ceramic insulator are measured by a temperature detection module and used to determine the heat rating of the spark plug. By real time adjusting the discharge current level of the spark plug, or providing a same amount of spark energy to the spark gap, the heat ratings of spark plugs with different ceramic insulation structures can be evaluated through the temperature changes during discharge or after discharge.

  • Patent number: 10742777
Abstract: A UDP protocol acceleration system includes a client terminal, an acceleration server, and a source station. The client terminal includes a local proxy at the application layer and one or more local applications to be accelerated, and a network filter at the IP layer. The local proxy identifies redirection requests from different local applications among requests received and, for each redirection request, queries an original destination address, and encapsulates and sends the original destination address and the redirection request to the acceleration server. The acceleration server parses the original destination, acts as a proxy for the redirection request, and sends a response back to the local proxy. The local proxy, after receiving the response from the acceleration server, queries acceleration records, and forwards the response to a corresponding local application.

  • Patent number: 10608691
Abstract: Techniques and apparatuses are described that implement a compact multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna module with two monopole antennas and a decoupling circuit. Due to a physical proximity of the two monopole antennas within the compact MIMO antenna module, the two monopole antennas indirectly couple to each other through one or more coupling paths. The decoupling circuit attenuates the resulting interference by providing a direct coupling path between the two monopole antennas. In this way, the decoupling circuit effectively counteracts the indirect coupling between the two monopole antennas to enable the two monopole antennas to behave substantially independent of each other for MIMO applications. The compact MIMO antenna module can be implemented within space-constrained devices and realize improved performance relative to other antenna modules that have a similar antenna spacing and do not include the decoupling circuit.
