The feedback information is transmitted by a receiver based on a variable feedback time interval, and is configured to indicate a transmission status of an image frame transmitted by a transmitter to the receiver prior to the feedback information. The image processing method also includes coding the current image frame based on an inter-frame coding and the reference image frame to generate coded data. The image processing method further includes transmitting the coded data to the receiver.
