Abstract: Disclosed are an image playing method and electronic device for a virtual reality device. The image playing method includes: acquiring a holographic image in the virtual reality device, where the holographic image includes a first image and a second image; setting a first view-finding area on the first image, and setting a second view-finding area on the second image; in response to a trigger instruction of a user, adjusting a position of the first view-finding area within a range of the first image according to the trigger instruction, and at the same time adjusting a position of the second view-finding area within a range of the second image according to the trigger instruction; and sending an image corresponding to the adjusted first view-finding area to a first screen for playing, and sending an image corresponding to the adjusted second view-finding area to a second screen for playing.
