  • Patent number: 8643891
Abstract: An image processing device includes a multi-layer data acquiring part configured to acquire multi-layer data having a required-formation-amount-related value representing a value relating to a formation amount required to form an image, and an expanding part configured to expand, based on a correspondence relationship for expansion, the acquired multi-layer data into multiple sets of single-layer data. The correspondence relationship for expansion has a correspondence relationship between the required-formation-amount-related value in each of the sets of single-layer data and the required-formation-amount-related value in the multi-layer data. The required-formation-amount-related value in the multi-layer data is image data that exceeds a maximum-formation-amount-related value representing a value relating to a maximum formation amount of a color value of the single-layer data with which an image can be printed in a single printing process.

  • Patent number: 8643897
Abstract: A plurality of grid points for forming a quadrangle is quasi-formed on a medium prior to deformation, after which position information is acquired that relates to the positions of the grid points moved in conjunction with deformation of the medium. The area difference of two triangles divided by a first diagonal is computed in a quadrangle formed by the grid points after deformation of the medium, and the area difference of two triangles divided by a second diagonal different from the first diagonal is computed in the quadrangle. The quadrangle quasi-formed on the medium prior to deformation is divided using one of the first and second diagonals that yields the larger area difference, and the formation amount of colorant formed on the medium is corrected according to the deformation ratio after deformation for the triangles formed by the division.

  • Patent number: 7677941
Abstract: An electronic device substrate includes an insulating plate base, an electronic circuit formed on one surface of the base, and a conductive film formed on the other surface of the base and having electrical conductivity. The electronic device substrate is completed through a manufacturing process including charge-removal movement in which removal of a charge of the base is combined with movement of the electronic device substrate. In the charge-removal movement, the electronic device substrate is moved with being supported by a substrate support part that has electrical conductivity and is grounded. The substrate support part abuts the conductive film during the charge-removal movement.

  • Patent number: 7392598
Abstract: A method and a device for measuring the dimensions of a constant velocity joint. In the method, for example, the cylindrical part of an outer member with a specified offset value is supported on the support part of a dimension measuring device for the outer member. On the other hand, a holding bar is inserted into a recessed part formed in the shaft part of the outer member. In this case, balls installed at the tip of the support part are inserted into the ball grooves of the cylindrical part. In this state, a rotating member is rotated to bring a probe into contact with the inside wall of the cylindrical part. The measurement core of a micro gauge is displaced according to the displacement of the probe, and the amount of the displacement thereof is displayed as the amount of the variation of the needle of the micro gauge.

  • Publication number: 20070263031
Abstract: A plurality of unit areas (bit) B are set on a base board. A liquid drop made of a liquid member is ejected to the unit area B from a liquid drop ejecting head so as to form a layer on the base board. A first pattern is formed by a first nozzle group Na in nozzles N which are formed in the liquid drop ejecting head. A second pattern is formed by a second nozzle group Nb which is different from the first nozzle group Na. By doing this, it is possible to maintain a stable ejection operation so as to form a pattern in preferable accuracy when patterns having different features are formed on the base board by using the liquid drop ejecting apparatus.
