  • Patent number: 10112569
Abstract: A vehicle seat with a side airbag apparatus includes a seat back having a seat frame, a side airbag apparatus having an airbag and an inflator, and an entry preventing portion. The seat frame includes a pressure receiving plate and an outer frame portion, which surrounds the pressure receiving plate. The airbag and the inflator are installed in the outer side section of the seat back. The airbag includes a main inflation portion and an auxiliary inflation portion. The auxiliary inflation portion is inflated on the front side of the pressure receiving plate prior to inflation of the main inflation portion, thereby pushing the occupant toward the inner side. The entry preventing portion prevents the auxiliary inflation portion being inflated from entering the gap between the outer frame portion and the pressure receiving plate.

  • Patent number: 9267828
Abstract: To provide a fluid flow rate detection device which can be evaluated as adequate from a medical point of view. The velocity of a fluid flowing through a luminal organ in vivo is to be obtained. V?(r, ?)=w·V??+(1?w)·V+? is calculated to obtain a calculated value V?(r, ?) of the flow rate regarding a component of the fluid in the direction perpendicular to the ultrasonic beam direction. Here, the weight w is a value proportional to the distance d from the wall on one side of the organ at least when the distance is smaller than a predetermined distance from the wall on the one side, and the weight is a value proportional to the distance d? from the wall on the other side of the organ at least when the distance is smaller than a predetermined distance from the wall on the one other side.

  • Patent number: 6792384
Abstract: A method for producing a fluid trap for an instant film assemblage, which method can produce an environment-friendly trap easily and at low cost, is disclosed. A plate-shaped paper material having a uniform width and a uniform thickness is passed through a clearance formed between a pair of rollers. The plate-shaped paper material is compressed at width-directional opposite end portions thereof such that a thickness of the paper material gradually decreases from a central portion thereof toward opposite ends thereof, and at the same time, the paper material is cut along a longitudinal direction thereof to a predetermined width. Thereafter, the paper material is cut along the width direction thereof at predetermined intervals with respect to the longitudinal direction thereof, thereby producing the trap.

  • Patent number: 6123943
Abstract: This invention relates to an NF-.kappa.B activity inhibitor which contains alkaloids originated from a plant belonging to the genus Stephania of the family Menspermaceae, derivatives thereof and salts thereof, as the active components, to an agent for use in the treatment and prevention of diseases upon which the NF-.kappa.B activity inhibiting action is effective and to an inhibitor of the expression of related genes. Since said active components exert an action to inhibit transcription of DNA having an NF-.kappa.B recognition sequence by inhibiting the activity of NF-.kappa.B, the drug of the present invention can inhibit expression of genes of certain substances such as cytokines, inflammatory cytokine receptor antagonists, MHC class I, MHC class II, .beta.
