  • Patent number: 5881323
Abstract: An instant photo film pack contains has a light-tight bag, which contains a stack of ten photo film units of a self-processing type in a light-tight manner. The light-tight bag has a bag component constituted by one belt-shaped sheet, and a tab projecting from the bag component. The bag component is formed by attaching one portion to another in a peelable manner. When the tab is pulled in one direction, attachment of the bag component is peeled, to strip the bag from the photo film units in a form of the belt-shaped sheet.

  • Patent number: 4804988
Abstract: In an instant film pack of the type comprising a parallelepipedal housing having a top wall in which an exposure aperture is formed and a front end wall with a film unit exit slot through which an instant film unit is withdrawn. A supporting member is provided to prevent the film unit from being improperly withdrawn. The supporting member comprises a pair of resilient arms attached to the bottom of the film pack at the front end and extending in the direction of withdrawal of the film unit. The resilient arms are so formed as to extend close to the juncture of the front end of a guide member and an edge controller disposed in a pack holder in which the film pack is loaded for use.

  • Patent number: 4637703
Abstract: In an instant film pack of the type comprising a parallelepipedal housing having a flat top wall in which an exposure aperture is defined by a rectangular frame, and a pressure plate for urging instant film units obtained in the film pack against the frame for exposure. Structure is provided to prevent the surface of the film unit from receiving scratch marks when the film unit is withdrawn from the film pack. The scratch mark preventing structure comprises a plurality of prismatic protuberances arranged in a line transverse to the direction of film movement on the underside of the rear edge of the exposure aperture, the protuberances having ridge lines parallel to the direction of film movement.

  • Patent number: 4546061
Abstract: A film unit for an instant camera includes a photosensitive sheet connected with a leader sheet. A carrier sheet is partly superposed on the leader sheet and bonded thereto at one end, and a drawer member is bonded to the leader sheet, at one end, near the bonding portion between the carrier sheet and the leader sheet. The other end of the drawer member is projected outside the camera body when the film unit is loaded in the camera. An image receiving sheet to which an image formed on the photosensitive sheet is transferred, is connected to the other end of the carrier sheet. When the projecting end of the drawer member is pulled after exposure, the leading end of the leader sheet is pulled to be inserted between a pair of pressure rolls and to be projected outside the camera body by way of the bonding portion between the drawer member and the leader sheet, with the drawer member being peeled off the leader sheet thereafter.

  • Patent number: 4348241
Abstract: A shaping ferrous metal member used in a metal-working apparatus is heat-treated at about 1,000.degree. C. for several hours in an incompletely burning fuel gas, to provide a burned gas atmosphere composed of 0.5 to 5.0% of CO, 8 to 12% of CO.sub.2, 0 to 0.5% of O.sub.2. A tough iron oxide layer of high quality is tightly deposited with a uniform thickness by said heat-treatment on the surface of shaping metal member which is abrasively contacted by a sliding semifinished metal product. The advantageous effect of this method is that a consumable shaping metal member has a life 2 to 4 times longer than that of a metal member which is conventionally heat-treated in a completely-burning fuel gas.

  • Patent number: 4044570
Abstract: In the refrigerator according to the present invention, the driving motor is provided outside of the refrigerator and hence the heat load of the freezing cycle can be decreased by the value corresponding to the value of heat which would be generated by the driving motor provided inside of the refrigerator, thereby reducing the time of cooling operation. Additionally, a bush is used to block the gap around the driving shaft penetrating into the refrigerator and hence a complete shut-off is established between the interior and the exterior of the refrigerator. Since the driving motor is housed in a completely sealed housing so that construction of the driving motor free from lock troubles is available. In addition, in the case of construction wherein a liquid polyurethane is filled in the insulated wall of the refrigerator for foam-forming therein, leakage of the liquid polyurethane can be fully prevented.

  • Patent number: 3999282
Abstract: A silicon crystal body having a major surface lying parallel to a {110} or {100} crystal plane is prepared. A silicon oxide film is formed on the major surface by heating the body in an atmosphere containing steam. Then, an aluminum layer is formed on the oxide film. Thereby the amount of surface donors induced in the major surface of the body by the existence of the oxide film is smaller than the amount of induced surface donors to be obtained in a crystal plane of a like silicon body but lying parallel to a {111} plane covered with a like oxide film. The amount of induced surface donors is further reduced by subjecting said body to a heat treatment under application across said oxide film of such a voltage as that which renders the aluminum layer provided on the oxide film negative polarity. This invention is applied to the manufacture of, for example, MOS field effect transistors, MOS diodes and so-called planar transistors.
